... But there's a peacock doing its best to avoid being within camera shot and some baby goats just went past as I sit here in the shade, savouring this tasty tea. The peacock and some big white hens couldn't possibly have known that the honey from the sourdough toast had managed to get on my fingers, making photography a... More

My mum and I took my 2 boys and 2 nieces to this farm on Wednesday sep 24th 2014. First Impressions were.. Safe parking, $8 for full day.. i ended up paying $4 for about half day. Once we walked down the driveway/bridge there is an entry booth, and the lady was lovely! Very friendly! Farm itself is very spread... More

So we finally got around to visiting Collingwood Children's farm after 7 years of living in Melbourne, and I can't believe what we've been missing out on! It was a fantastic experience for all of us. Our children got to pet and feed lambs and baby goats, and chickens. They also got to hold and cuddle guinea pigs. They walked... More

I'm not sure if we just went at the wrong time (later in the day - cafe was closing up), but I have no idea why this place gets such great reviews!? Absolute snoozeville. Nothing seemed to be going on, no close encounters, animals mostly just in their big yards.. No pleasant feel to the place. It was a real... More

We have wanted to take our daughter here for over a year, and it was extremely disappointing. Great value as a family is only 16.00 entry but then when you are wandering around it makes you then wonder what for? The day we went was gorgeous so there were people everywhere. There was one paddock that you could get into... More

Excellent place by the river with heritage farm buildings. There is a market selling fresh produce held on the 2nd Saturday each month.

Loved the experience and so did my little girl. We saw cows, sheep, ducks, chooks, pigs, horses, etc.. had tractor rides and sausage sizzle. Amazing to have that land and experience so close to the city.

Wanted to get the kids out on a sunny winters day and this is the only farm we havent been to. Parking was a bit tricky as it was so busy and you do need to pay for it so keep that in mind. Unlike the other farms we have been to we were not given or able to purchase... More

Wow- anyone who can keep 14 2-4 year olds engaged for over an hour deserves more than a gold medal. Great value for money children's party where you can order catering from cafe or bring your own food. Cafe offered to cut and plate our byo fruit for us! The perfect peaceful party for little ones- thank you farmer Andrew... More

This is a great value family attraction. It is only 21 dollars or so for a family of 4 to visit. Children are actually able to pet the animals - plus abbotsford convent isn't far away for some extra sight seeing and lunch at Lentil as Anything.
