I sometimes jog from Melbourne Zoo to Collingwood Children's farm, as it has the most rewarding farm cafe to have lunch at. The food is amazing, and it has really gone gourmet recently. The farm is situated right near river and also the capital city trail, making it a perfect place to stop over while touring around the outer areas... More

This place is probably the biggest rip-off I have ever experienced. It is $8 per adult entry (which cost us $32 for 4 adults) - we only went to show the farm animals to our 2 year old grandson. We went in and out of there in an hour - every paddock had no animals in them, we only got... More

My 21 month old daughter loved being able to get up close and personal with the farm animals, and we loved being able to get her on a horse. The staff were lovely and accommodating. 2 things I didn't like, the carpark requiring payment before you enter was a pain, would make more sense to me to have it on... More

Only person there apart from my daughter, no shows on, not one staff member approached me. Wouldn't go again after bad experience.

Coming from a country which doesn't have many farms for show... this was quite an interesting experience for me! Though it was a 'children' farm, I enjoyed myself quite a lot! One of the best things about this farm is the close interactions with the animals! You can enter the enclosures (?) freely, just remember to lock it up in... More

A fantastic co op farm for forward thinking people and animal lovers. A harmonious environment where animals, plants and people all exist in synergy. Right in the middle of Melbourne! Amazing value for money. Charmed and will visit again. No sign of horses or signs on fences advising if patrons allowed in certain areas where animals graze.

Great place for kids to get in touch with farm life and yet in the inner suburbs. Quite $$$ fee if no discount. We went with a 1/2 price voucher the first time and subsequent visits were done on the market days which only gold coin donations were needed and still give you access of most part of the farm... We took our young son to the zoo as he loves cows. The farm is a working farm and gives children the opportunity to feed and see various farm animals. A cheap entry fee, $8 for adults and $4 for children. We brought some bags of food to feed the friendly goats and sheep. Whilst at the farm we saw... More

Very rude and unhelpful staff. I went over the weekend to enquirer about celebrating my daughter's birthday. The staff were very rude and unwilling to help. The farm itself, was pretty average. Definitely not going back!

We had a wonderful trip to the Collingwood Children's Farm. Couldn't believe that something like this could exist so close to the city - all that open space, with rolling hills and forests in the background - Melbourne residents are so lucky to have this place! The weather was perfect, sunny with blue skies and a cool breeze when we... More
