Real working farm, so don't expect cornered animals ready to patting! However it was good for the little one to experience what she's neem reading in books LIVE. We were free to roam to most corners and the cafe seems popular with local cyclist and visitors alike.

We took our little one out for the day. It was just perfect for her. Chasing the peacocks and silkie hens.. guinea pigs and doneky.. We finished up at the convent, trying the sour dough bread. We enjoyed every minute of the day.

This remnant of a continuously working farm which once supported the adjacent Anbotsford Convent offers a unique country experience despite being just 4km from the Melbourne GPO. Heritage animals, community vegetable gardens and Landcare native vegetation on the river banks make this a favorite return destination. I go to the regular farmers markets but many others make the farm a... More

This petting zoo is charming, it is a bit expensive, but it's great to be able to interact with so many animals so close to the city. I do wish they had a few more small animals such as rabbits or guinea pigs - but all in all a worthwhile day out.

The Farm also hosts a market on the 2nd Saturday of the month. $2 entry per person and lots of organic sellers. Great morning.

Came here with my family and some friends with kids too. Not much to see and was quite crowded. Gates are not frequently opened. Horses were hard to see

Headed along to he farm a few weeks ago with the other half and a friend with a little one, tickets were $6 for adults or $20 for a family of four so great value. Have to say what a beautiful spot down by the yarra so quiet and peaceful there are gardens all over the place you can walk... More

I have taken my two littles here a few times and they always enjoy it. Its great that you can get into the paddock to feed the goats etc and get up close with the animals. The cafe is ok, the kids loved having their lunch while the chickens were running around their feet.

... But there's a peacock doing its best to avoid being within camera shot and some baby goats just went past as I sit here in the shade, savouring this tasty tea. The peacock and some big white hens couldn't possibly have known that the honey from the sourdough toast had managed to get on my fingers, making photography a... More
