I took this tour on my first day in the city and in fact in Australia. It was a great introduction to the city and Dave gave a very detailed history of its origins. I enjoyed the highly decorated lanes, arcades, the beautiful bank headquarters, the river walk and of course Federation square. I would highly recommend this to anyone... More

My partner Nicole and I had the pleasure of a really excellent tour this week conducted by Chris. It was a quiet day and we were the only two on the tour but Chris nonetheless delivered a most interesting tour with great knowledge and enthusiasm. Would highly recommend.

A pleasant evening spent walking the (chilly) streets of Melbourne uncovering new Info about the city, its pubs/bars and history. It was only a small group on our tour but that was fine with us.We went to 4 pubs and had dinner at the last by which time we were pretty hungry. We liked one bar so much we went... More

The best way to visit Melbourne CBD is by foot - there is a cafe at every corner and the quality of coffee is superb!

We met up with our guides Dave and Chris (in training). We met at Federation Square, learned the history of the Square, and then took a walking tour around downtown. The sporting venues were pointed out (as cricket, soccer, rugby, and Australian Rules Football are all big in Melbourne.) They pointed out some of the back alleys, where delightful restaurants... From Federation square its foodie heaven in any direction, including Fed square itself. Going up Swanston you can eat your way to Melbourne Central. Across the Yarra there's the Botanical Gardens with a really nice cafe and restaurants. Walk around the "Tan" past the Yarra. Or go up Little Collins and you get among the best nouveau/fusion/foodie (try Papa Goose... More

My husband and I booked the Beer Lovers Guide to Melbourne and were so glad we did. Dave was a warm, friendly and very knowledgeable guide to the Melbourne beer scene. He included just enough history to inform and provide background, but it was never long-winded or boring, and he managed to somehow keep our rather large group ( a... More

David was as personable as he was knowledgeable about the lesser known streets and back stories of Melboure's unique history and architecture, especially the street art and early origins. A great way to spend three hours and get in a good walk. I was especially impressed with how David took the time to talk to each participant on the tour... More

I've been to Melbourne quite a few times before but Dave's tour gave a very new and exciting perspective of the city. Loved the laneways, the ever-changing artwork on the walls, the insights into the colourful history as well as meeting new people. I can't recommend the tour highly enough, I'm sure you'll love it, too!
