Lucky for me this tour happened on my 1st night in Melbourne, and what a great introduction to the city. Tour guide Dave was friendly and knowledgeable; he shared interesting stories with us along the way. The pubs we visited were all unique in their own way with a rotating style of beer. Really enjoyed the burger dinner and sharing... More

Fantastic way to hear a bit of Melbourne's history and enjoy a few craft beers at the same time. As good for Melbournians as for those from out of town. Dave is a genial, knowledgeable host and makes everyone feel involved, and it's nice to meet people from around the globe and see where they are on their lifetime beer... More

I have been to Melbourne countless times but found that this tour showed me places I have never been and provided me with some very interesting new pieces of information about a number of aspects of the city. Suzanne (our guide) was friendly, engaging and well informed. The group was small (5 people) which was a good size.

I was just on a business trip to Melbourne and wanted to take advantage of some free time in the evening for some sightseeing and the Beer Lovers walking tour of Melbourne was perfect! Stopped at 4 different pubs and learned quite a bit of Melbourne history in the process. Great way to spend an evening in Melbourne! Highly recommend!

Dave was a great guide for a visitor to get a good introduction to Melbourne city centre - especially some of the fun "quirks" like graffiti alleys. I highly recommend this 3 hour experience!

My husband I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne. The tour group was small which was awesome as it was very easy to ask questions and hear the guide. We were taken to many places in the city we would have never found ourselves and the knowledge of our guide was very immense.... More

Really enjoyed this walking tour. Dave (the guide) was very well informed of the history of Melbourne and also of more of its more current and unique elements. We learnt a lot on the tour and we also found we were more open to seeing things afterwards (e.g. different types of street art). There were lots of things we never... More

Alto Hotel on Bourke proposes this tour when you make a booking. First time in Melbourne, I thought it would be a good idea to get crash course. We were only two people on the tour so our guide, Dave, could take time to explain and answer questions as we went along. It's a three hour walk with some stops... More

Hi Peter, The Alto Hotel have a fantastic 'green' outlook and teaming with them to provide walking tours was a nice compliment for those seeking low environmental impact ways to travel. I am pleased to know that you enjoyed visiting some of the bigger sites as well as the tucked away laneways and arcades. Hope to see you back in... More

What a great mixture of new and old as you wander around Melbourne. Dave was a wonderful guide who was had done his studies and had lots of tidbits to tell. For 3 hours the tour was great value and included a nice coffee in the middle to recoup for the next leg. I recommend this if you are new... More
