Beautiful !

The views were stunning even on a cloudy day. The gibson steps were closed so we were not able to get close to the beach.

The number of the apostles is slowly declining. The view is pretty impressive and the main tourist attraction along the great ocean road. I like the fact it's free to visit. If it was in the UK the national trust would charge you. Beware of the flies though, on the great ocean road in general. They are pests and don't... More

Twelve Apostles is a coastal park located in the Great Ocean Road in the South East part of Australia. Here you can see and enjoy great and wonderful views of the coast! There are a lot of magnificent rock formations! A perfect site to relax, walk and discover new rocks formations. Moreover the rocks are changing always, because the material... More

I never say trust me, but on this one, all previously held notions are out the window - so trust me. This is what you do. Rent a car from Melbourne. How about renting a convertible. Trust me. Make it a convertible. You will enjoy the wind blowing in your hair while you steer around some curvy roads. First stop;... More

Drive 300km from Melbourne to this place. Tiring but awesome visit. Definitely a top 10. I was counting if there is 12 stones but somehow I couldn't get the 12 of them. Am thinking I must be missing out something. Will visit again for sure.

The must see on the Great Ocean Road drive. The whole drive has endless blue ocean to gaze on but the 12 apostles really are a beautiful natural attraction. There is a great look out to take photos on and although we went around lunch time, I've heard and can even imagine that it would be a thousand times prettier... More

Although located quite far from Melbourne, it is worth to spend a day going to Great Ocean Road and specifically to Twelve Apostles. There are only 9.5 of them but the view is still unforgotten. There are also several viewing points and a very good, free parking. There is also a souvenir shop and public toilets. The location is also... More

The twelve apostles is really an amazing natural feature. The visual impact was strong to me. Even though a long distance drive from Melbourne city is appropriate 3 hours (one way) it is absolutely worth to spend a day for it. The twelve apostles are located adjacent to the Great Ocean Road which is a dual lane carriageway only, not... More

We recently did a 4 day tour of the Great Ocean Road, and there is no doubt that the Twelve Apostles stop is one of the highlights. However, if you can plan your visit for early or late in the day you will get to avoid some of the crowds which will increase during late Spring and Summer. There is... More
