Wow, the scenery was awesome even though it was raining. The road became treacherous at times with fallen rocks on the road but well worth the journey. So many different places to stop and take pictures. Stopped at Port Campbell as the road is pretty long so stayed overnight before returning to Torquay. Better journey back as the weather was... Well if there is one road trip that is worth taking then it has to be this. Okay, I can't really compare it to driving overseas, since I have not done all that much, and most of it being in Europe, but this road still pretty much comes near the top of the best roads that I have driven along.... If travelling from Melbourne I would recommend an overnight stay as the distances are long, there are some road works at present, the road is winding in places and you will want to stop often to enjoy the views. I recommend starting from Lorne, making your way to Apollo Bay then to Cape Otway Lighthouse to see koalas in the... More

Nothing can prepare you for the splendid views that await you. Though you need 3-4 days to cover it entirely and enjoy various activities the great attraction has to offer. However, that shouldn't deter you from going if you can spare just a day. Just make sure you leave as early as you can. Then keep going till the sunset... More

Badly signposted but a natural wonder. South of Cumberland River, and about 500 yards to the west of the 'historic site' (a grave). There's a layby and a small sign at the head of some steps down onto the rocks. The Artillery Rocks themselves are Incredible formations, rows and pockets of small round knobbles the size of a lounge room... More

Thank you for such a wonderful time on our two day Great Ocean Road Tour. Jude from Ride Tours, was an exceptional tour guide, entertainer, comedian, wonderful chef and expert matchmaker. Having traveled the world, I never expected my own backyard to be something so majestic! Thank you Ride Tours, your service around the region was informative and totally under... More

Beautiful scenery and nature. Quaint villages and beaches. Lovely restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. A day visit is possible, but try to stay at least three days. Will definitely visit again.

Urquhart Bluff is located in Fairhaven on the Great Ocean Road. The signs are well situated and walking along the beach in this area is amazing. It was busy when we were there due to Easter but we were able to walk along further and get some space and freedom. I had driven past many times but never gone in... More

Had an amazing lunch duringt he day. Rounded off the trip with a drive to the Apostles...what a magnificent place ! Returned back to Melbourne late night. We had... More
