If you want to pick cherries be there in November and December, we picked apples and strawberries etc and had a great time. Staff were excellent and informative and lots of Tasmanian goodies to buy in the shop. Clean amenities and delicious ice creams.

Called in to buy some berries, but as it was raining we couldn't go picking & the only fruit available were cherries from a neighbouring farm - more expensive than elsewhere. We purchased some jams only to find (once we had left) that they were all past the use by date, very annoying! Also felt the woman serving was very... More

I am sorry that you missed out on berry picking because of the rain because the berries were magnificent this year. Jams have a 'best before' date which means after that date they may lose colour but are still safe to eat. From memory the jams were sold at a cheap price and usually this is explained to customers. If... More

Being from Queensland we seldom have the chance to see berries growing. I picked berries while my husband had a coffee and caught up on his emails. We were leaving Tassie late the next day and didn't want to be carrying lot of fruit. Very informative staff and well appointed café with very clean amenities. We were there in December... More

Beautiful berries in the summer months at reasonable prices. I picked heaps to make jam and also just to eat and enjoy with my family. After picking berries 6 of us sat out in the pretty and sunny garden for a light lunch (including berries!) and coffee. A very enjoyable day with great company and lots of laughter!

On a family trip to Tassie for 3 weeks currently, we'd been really looking forward to picking fresh berries straight from the earth. On arrival we were told rudely by female staff to move our car (no reason), then when we sat down outside for morning tea we were told to move elsewhere instead of putting up the shade umbrella... I am sorry that you felt that you were asked rudely to move your car because we always try to emphasise politeness. At that time of year our car park is very busy and we have many children in the car park. For that reason we ask drivers to park in the designated area and in a way that does... More

Great way to pick your own fruit albeit a little pricey for a full family. The cafe is beautiful with an outdoor deck to soak up the sun and see the views, the soup of the day was divine!!

We got 2 huge punnets of strawberries and cherries with an assortment of other berries thrown in. The best bit was the adults sat in the cafe and had a nice afternoon tea and our teenagers went wild picking the fruit. A win win for both. Plus we had yummy berries to munch on for a few days

We had a few hours to spare before our flight back to the main land, so we decided to stop at this fruit farm which is only about 10 mins from the airport. What a great experience it was! Picking your own cherries was exciting, especially when you have to search for the ripe ones hidden among the branches. The... More

We were fortunate to visit Sorell Fruit Farm during cherry season - our favourite fruit. The scone with jam and cream was heavenly too. A must drop-in place in Tasmania.

We have gone to this attraction many times over the past years and found it great. We have also taken many other people along with us over this time and they too have enjoyed it. BUT today we went and found a very rude woman who informed us that we HAD to pay $8.00 each 4 adults and 1 child... More
