Walk around looking at houses and gardens, historical locations in the area. Uphill walk for a short time and then it is all downhill to the harbor and Salamanca area.

Spent hours just walking through the old streets of Battery Point. Beautiful historic buildings spectacular views over the water by many of the old homes. Worth a walk if you have some time to kill.

Take a walk around the streets to charming Arthur's circle and stop off for breakfast or coffee at any of the little places tucked away up there.

We stayed in the area and found it to be convenient for just about everything. So great to walk around the streets and soak up the historic atmosphere not too mention the views. Just love this area and think you get a real feel for what Hobart was like a couple of centuries ago!

Beautiful suburb to walk through. Feels very peaceful and the architecture of the small cottages are very nice.

Invigorating walk to the top, lots of quaint and quirky streets and old style residences with charm and character, great choice of restaurants - a must. Red Bus tour allows an excellent chance to enjoy all the sights.

Very historic. Beautiful water views and the majestic Mt Wellington rules above it. It is within walking distance to Hobart City plus walking distance to the waterfront. Superb!
