My husband and i spent a lot of time in this area, as it was old and had beautiful homes, gardens and cafes. Great area for an early morning run if you don't mind hills.

It's a lovely place to just walk and enjoy the various... More

Loved the old buildings. Saw Errol Flynns house where he grew up. Loved the little shops that sell old style manchester and home goods.

The architecture of the area runs the gamut from bigger, elegant houses and cute small cottages of different styles from Georgian (my favourite), to Victorian and later. Places to stop for coffee and a bite to eat. A lovely way to spend a bit of time.

full of history, you get a good vibe of old Hobart town. Would not take you long to get around and have a look, make sure you go to the waterfront for a look.
