Very informative tour guide, interesting stories but the highlight was trying the beers at the end. The tour went for about an hour (we had the worst weather, so it may have been modified). The best part for me was trying the beers that are only sold in Tasmania. The gardens of the tasting house were beautiful. We had some... More

cascade is such a historic part of Hobart and thought it was a must visit. We dropped in Friday afternoon for a few beers. We didn't do a tour as we got there quite late. The setting of the bar and brewery is amazing, set at the base of a mountain. The day we were there we witnessed snow. Such... More

Booked the tour on line, tuened up and had a great experience over the next hour and fifteeen. Sam the host was a wealth of information, brewery and history of the place were great topped off with generous bar staff at the tour tasting. Can certainly recommend the tour and beer at Australia's oldest brewery......well done to all involved, great... More

Beers, beers and more beers. To try many of the beers that the brewery makes, opt for a paddle and you get to try 8 of them. We, like many others, were having Sunday lunch here. (We even sat outside in the sun as it was quite protected from the wind.) If we had more time, we would have down... More

We went here for a cider tasting and their range by far out weighs the rest in Australia. The staff were super friendly their meals quite delicious and the scenic area really delightful. The gardens were beautiful. Didn't do a tour as we weren't in the mood for beer but definitely worth a drop in.

Myself and a friend visited this fantastic brewery after seeing the historic building on a walk. We went on a tour of the brewery which was very affordable ($20 each and cheaper for locals) and this came with 3 x 200mL tasters. They had a variety of beers and ciders to choose from. The tour provided us with extensive knowledge... More

Learn and see how beer is made in Australia's oldest brewery. Get involved in a beer pulling competition with free beer. Try for free a variety of beers, some only available in Tasmania.

The Cascade Brewery and gardens are truly beautiful and a significant part of the Hobart history. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Cascade history. The tour itself takes you through the brewery and you get to see and smell the process of beer making. At the end of the tour you can sit down and enjoy... More

Fantastic tour and great to see an old building still being used for its earlier function. Great range of beers to taste after the tour and stunning gardens/grounds to wander around before or after your tour

My friends and I were on the early tour on a Saturday. We were in a small group of 5 on the tour and Tanya our guide was friendly and informative. She seemed genuinely enthusiastic about showing off where she worked. Although a weekend, so not operational, it was great to see the factory and the gardens are a beautiful... More
