We went to Cascades early in the morning and chose to do the Cascades Walk through the bush land behind the brewery. It was a lovely walk with some beautiful views.

We did a quick visit here. Had a tasting board, admired the buildings and gardens. Would have liked to do the tour but ran out of time. Very friendly staff. Walked back into the city via the cascade walk. Lovely way to pass an afternoon.

We had a great time - the way our tour guide Sam described the process made the beer appealing and I wasn't disappointed. Cascades make great beer and it was interesting to see what goes on.

Our guide, Tara, was enthusiastic, passionate and engaging. She talked about the history, the stories behind the business, and the current day business operations. We were shown the gardens and the life of the establishing family was brought to life. After the tour, we could taste the Cascade soft drinks for the children, and the beers & ciders for the... Went with my husband and wasn't expecting to enjoy it at all. The grounds and building are gorgeous! Sam was our tour guide and he was so informative and lots of fun! I found the tour and the information that Sam gave about the history of the company and building really interesting. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but watching... More

What an amazing experience; made even better by our tour guide Sam. He was a wealth of information and made it all fun. Be there at 2pm daily for the beer pulling competition.

Having the capabilities of a mountain goat might be useful, but still worth the effort. Our guide, Jenny, was delightful. Informative, friendly but always on the lookout for the safety & education of her charges. The tastings - especially for a person who doesn't usually drink beer were worthwhile. Think I've broadened my repertoire.

It's great to know that even though Cascade is owned by the largest beer conglomerate in Australia, Carlton & United Breweries (CUB), they still practice traditional brewing methods to produce a quality product. There’s a lovely garden adjacent to the modern tasting room and the juxtaposition between the original factory established in 1824 and the modern wing is quite striking.
