I personally found the tour interesting, though my wife was pretty bored. Glad that I visited, not so sure I'd do it a second time. Would still recommend it though.

I went to the brewery for the shop and the gardens. I would have liked to do the historic tour however it didnt run on the day I went. The shop was good, lots of cascade products I havent seen before and some souvenier items. The food in the cafe looked good and the gardens were really nice. The ginger...

Stunning gardens and views, a great day for all ages. We only had the garden etc tour but our guide was very knowledgable and friendly. Free drink tokens are an added plus!
Beautiful building and surrounding gardens. Excellent host with abundant knowledge. Tour is informative and engaging. But most importantly, it's about the beer. Which is why it is such as shame that Cascade makes such a below average beer. Try Boag's instead.
A great way to see behind the impressive facade that graces the label of most Cascade products. Jenny our guide was a font of knowledge and a great host. The restaurant-tasting area is a fabulous setting to relax and try some of the fantastic beer and cider they make. Definitely put it on your list if your visiting Hobart....
We went on the brewery tour on a Sunday. It was a good tour, informative and they let you take photos which most breweries don't. The brewery only operates Mon to Fri so we didn't get to see it in action, but a good tour all the same
Even without going on a brewery tour (which we didn't do), Cascade brewery is certainly worth the trip. If you're staying in Melbourne and driving up to Mount Wellington, it's a great place to stop off and sample some of their beers, sit outside in the garden, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, including the historic brewery itself and Mount Wellington....

The cascade brewery looks very nice from the outside. The tour however is not worth the money in any way..
You don't get to see much. Most of the process is explained with poorly printed pictures in a small noisy place. The guide's microphone didn't work very well. Also she didn't seem interested to answer our questions.. At the end...

We never went to the brewery but rather the restaurant close by which was a great place to have a filling cheep lunch with a good drinks menue. There was a nice garden just outside to go for a wander after the lunch. The trips for the brewery would have been good for any body that hasn't seen how the...

What a wonderful surprise! Set in stunning gardens with beautiful water features and a backdrop of the stone brewery, it is a delightful way to spend the day. We didn't book a tour of the brewery so were unable to see over the 'works' however it didnt matter as it is just a peaceful taking in the surrounds. Another highlight...
