We took the cruise with about 14 others. The day was very calm but very cold. The two men who were the captain/deckhand/tour guides were very knowledgeable about the area - both fauna and flora. They imparted the knowledge with much humour which made it very enjoyable and not drab/boring. The boat ride itself was great fun! Unfortunately, we did... More

Would have been excellent if not for the weather and rough seas. Lots of spray on the boat and pretty bumpy (like a roller coaster!), so we couldn't get out to the seals. Great sights on the way still and calming pumpkin soup to soothe the stomach on return.

I have done 3 different cruises; two from Bruny Island and one from Hobart. All of them have been just wonderful. But be aware it can be cold and wet on board the ships. Me sure that shoes are waterproof as it can be very uncomfortable to endure wet and cold feet. But the scenery is breathtakingly marvellous. One can... More

My wife and I went to bruny island on the car ferry to go on the bruny island cruise. We left sandy bay around 08:00 and arrived at kettering ferry about 08:40 to catch the 09:15 ferry across to bruny island which only cost $30 return. When we got off the ferry it was a 25 minute drive to adventure... More

Fantastic day. Hugh, our guide/driver made the day, along with the rest of the visitors on the bus. Bruny Island is just a magnificent destination

A most enjoyable cruise with excellent guides - thank you Mick and Michael - wonderful scenery and seals as well! Very good value for a full day tour with a nice morning tea of blueberry muffins and fabulous pumpkin soup and smoked salmon roll for lunch. Our driver and captain Mick is a local with interesting anecdotes and fascinating stories... More

This was a great tour, great guides who have a wealth of knowledge about the area and know all the best places! We got to see some sea lions which was amazing, would definitely recommend to others, however I would recommend to rug up! Also buy the food there, it is a little pricey, but it tastes amazing!

On Bruny my friend and I experienced all seasons in one day. We were traveling in early August and had already experienced snow at sea level. We were unsure if the tour would be operating. We were happy to know that it would be and were greeted by the friendly staff who kitted all passengers out in warm gloves, beanies... More
