If you like being on the water and up close to the coastline you will enjoy this trip. You will experience the ruggedness of our coast, sea birds and seals and porpoises. The trip leaves from the docks travelling down the Derwent River prior to boarding the cruise boats. Even in winter if it is a sunny day you will... More

Where else could you be immersed in such wilderness with such friendly staff who made the cruise comfortable, safe, informative and yes, entertaining! And adding in an Aussie treat of BBQ shapes and Tim Tams to conclude our windy afternoon. Not luxury, but experience plus. We were thrilled to gain glimpses of a hump backed whale, numerous snoozing male seals,... More

This was a very professionally run and presented trip. We were very lucky with the fine weather in the middle of winter as the conditions were excellent. The comfort and safety passengers were highly considered. The staff provided very informative and lively commentaries throughout the cruise. The cruise takes you past fascinating geological features as well as highlighting sea birds... More

My wife and I went out on this tour and believe me it was one of the most beautiful and hairiest boat trips ever forget NZ this has it all. The two guys Life and Hugh our captain and deck hand were just fantastic they drive the bus plus navigate this kind of shot over boat.Three hours on the icy... More

Penicott provide a number of journeys. Tthis review is for the Bruny Island Cruise that starts and finishes at Adventure Bay, Bruny Island. In short the experience was exhilarating. This was no gentle mini-bus tour of a few nice look outs. It was a 3 hour trip in an open boat that travelled up to 30 knots in a 2... More

This is a great 3hr boat trip around the coast from Adventure Bay on Bruny Island. It starts out in the Tasman Sea and with these small boats you get up close to the edge of huge cliffs and sea caves. The tour crosses into the Southern Ocean to take you to visit the local seal colonies, and there are... More

This was a fantastic experience! I'm not keen on water but this was awesome. The scenery is spectacular and your on the edge of Tasmanian wilderness. There's plenty of wildlife that's pointed out to you on the way and lots of surprises that if you new about them you may not go, but I felt so safe. Highly recommend, and... More
