We thought it was worth every cent: from the time we were collected at the Franklin Wharf to the time we were delivered back to the pick-up point it was a seamless experience. Hugh, our driver, was a mine of interesting and useful information as he gave us a mini tour of Hobart, focusing on Salamanca Place, Battery Point and... More

What an excellent day. We boarded the bus in Hobart and had an informed and interesting drive to Kettering where we had a short break before boarding the ferry to the Island. Drive down the island was quite interesting with opportunity to see the Salmon farms and other small industries that are springing up on the island. Arriving at our... More

Its a bit chaotic at the cruise office lining up merely to hand your voucher in but that said the wait is worthwhile. We were told that the seas were 'up' a bit and we might not get out to see the seals (off the end of the island). The trip down along the cliffs was awesome in a 3-3.5... More

This was the winner of Tasmania's best tourist attraction for the last 6 years - it really deserves it. The all day trip starts with a ride to the "Yellow Boat" which holds around 20 people. It cruises to the south of Bruny Island which is the southermost land before Antartica. The landscape is surreal with cliffs and rocks, the... More

Ok the day we went was not the best, 17 degrees and windy. The trip started off well, lots to see in the cliffs, with all the blow holes. It was interesting, exciting and a tiny bit scary. The 7 year old loved it, the mum was a bit nervous. Then we hit open sea heading out to the Seals.... More

We took the Bruny Island Cruise on a beautiful sunny day in September with my family of six, ages 21, 9, 5, and 3. We drove our vehicle on the Ferry from Hobart to and from Bruny Island. This allowed us the opportunity to makes some stops along the way back to Ferry. There appears to be a shuttle service... More

Please don't be fooled by the word "cruise" here - this is not your float-along, buffet-lunch sightseeing type of deal here. You are on a speedboat. It's fast and windy. The water is choppy. You are given an orange spacesuit thing to wear over your clothes as you will most likely get wet. But if you are ready for this,... More

This was such an amazing, full day! Besides the informative and exciting boat tour around Bruny Island, the convenience of transport from Hobart, the meals that are provided at the perfect times and the great, funny staff are also what makes this tour worth your time and money.

The boat was full. The tour guide, Mick and andrew were both old hats at a job they so obviously loved and were so good at. The tour lasted around 3 hours. You were able to see all the huge cliffs, blow holes, caves and wild seas of that side of Tasmania. We saw albatros, seals by the dozens, and... More
