Pick a bright sunny day, take a coat , the road up is long and bendy so take it easy heading up, you may meet a tour bus on the way.

Having been up a few mountains in my time, Mt Wellington impressed for the fact that you get a very steep drop in a short space, so that you actually feel very high up looking over Hobart. Of course, best on a lovely sunny day !

Was here recently on a beautiful clear day. Always a bit windy and it was chilly so take a coat, camera and comfortable walking shoes. On a clear day you can see all of Hobart and well worth a look.
