Great views of Hobart and beyond. Puts a different perspective on town planning. Access easy with your own car. The viewing area is well planned.

What a magnificent view after such a windy ascent. Wind and snow and sunshine all at once. Well worth the drive on a very average access road

Really gorgeous views even although the cloud was down on the mountain. Snow everywhere and freezing cold (make sure you take a parka and gloves) but definitely worth the drive!

Not so on our third visit to the Mountain. Not a breeze on the day we visited and the sun was shining so the views down over the city were clear as a bell. But don't be fooled, it can be very, very windy and cold up there. The views are always fabulous though and certainly worth the drive to... More

Easy trip from Hobart to finish the day. Great views. The proposed Gondola would be a great addition.

We enjoyed the views as you can see forever. Windy and cold yes so take warm cloths but so worth it. Part the way up is a structure with picnic tables and a parking area this is the best spot for a picnic lunch as it's too exposed at the sumit.

Must go when the weather is clear, the views seem to go forever. Spectacular. Windy so take appropriate clothing even if it is nice and warm in town.

Brilliant views from the top and a observatory to get in out of the cold if you want to. Great boardwalks and well thought of platforms

As we were driving up to Mt Wellington the temperature kept dropping until it was -2. We had sleet then snowflakes started falling and by the time we reached the top it was snowing quite heavily, very nice!
