Me and my friends enjoyed thoroughly. This was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Hated the emus though :/ could have definitely done without them. Paul was very friendly as were the other staff. Highly recommended.

If I could give Paul's Place 10 stars I would have, we enjoyed it so much. We loved the experience so much we came on back to back days :) Yes Paul this is the crazy Americans who could somehow tolerate you two days in a row. Both of us love animals and love to interact with animals, so if... More

Paul's Place was one of the best times I had on holiday in South Australia. Paul himself was an excellent and informative guide as he gave insight to all of his wonderful animals with a good laugh along the way. I count myself lucky to scrape up my last bits of coin to have an excellent day with a permanent... More

It's been a lifelong ambition of mine to cuddle a koala, and this is where I got to do it! 'Blue' was like a living teddy bear, totally unfazed by being handed around, and incredibly cute and cuddly. As well as this, I fed kangaroos, who gently hold on to your hand with their front paws, had a kangaroo plonked... More

Our visit to Paul's Place was one of many great experiences on Kangaroo Island. It is also the best bargain for $15 per person. We joined the tour in progress and got to hold Koalas, joeyies, possum, snakes, lizards, birds, and yes adult kangaroos. Paul asked my wife if she wanted to feed a kangaroo and you could have knocked... More

Great alternative to cookie cutter animal farms/zoos. You get to interact with the animals in a very natural - if a bit cluttered - setting. It's fun, entertaining, and thoroughly enjoyable. Don't go here for deep learning about the animals; go to enjoy interacting with them up close and personal. Great for families, too. As to some who complained about... More

This was the highlight of our visit to kangaroo island, the effort, and experience Paul gave us was far above the $18 entry fee, to be able to interact with Australian native animals, for over 3 hours was indescribable joy, especially to our Canadian visitors, an absolute must to put on list.

We went as a group of 4... 2 parents, and 21 young adults (mid 20's) and we had the most wonderful time. Sure it was a little chaotic with animals everywhere, but that's what we loved about it. The focus was on interacting with the animals and truly getting a once in a life time hands on experience. The animals... More

My partner and I would have to say this was the highlight of our trip to K.I. The hands on and up close experience you get at Pauls Place is fantastic. For $18 an adult including koala holding for nearly 3 hours of fun (I think all tours vary but this is how long our tour went for) is excellent... More

We had great fun at Paul's Place wildlife sanctuary. You are greeted at the gate by a menagerie of tame, friendly, social animals. You are in their space and allowed to feed, pet, and hold them. It is a 'casual Australian' experience that Paul and Katja have worked hard to make authentic and enjoyable. It is 'good value' for your... More
