Wow, what an awesome few hours. Feeding the wildlife was awesome, but it was the little extra experiences which made this so amazing. Paul took me so far out of my comfort zone but it was so good. You know you can trust this guy, having EMU's eating seed off my head from over the fence!! Holding lizards, having huge... More

You'll get to feed the kangaroos, hold koalas in your arms (you have to pay though for that) and see many other things. Very nice guide too!

A native wildlife experience you would never forget, we were privileged to have a private visit. We fed kangaroos, emus, a deer and had birds flying around and landing on us, cuddled a Koala and held lizards and had a large snake wrapping itself around us. We had visited before some years ago, then there was no extra charge for... More

Because the Sanctuary is "temporary closed" (bureaucracy) we called up and ask for a private tour. Paul agree instantly and we had a chance to visit next morning. He gave us a very personal and private tour with a lot of background information. The people bring him all kind of orphan animals or even injured animals from an accident and... More

Such a great place with so many animals! Paul seems to care a lot about them and he collects hurt animals on the roads too. It felt like a great place to get up and close to the cute and cuddly creatures. No negative feel to it in regard of the wellbeing of the animals.

We visited Paul's Place during our honeymoon on August 2014. Kangaroo Island has been the highlight of our 6-weeks honeymoon across Australia, and the 3-hour visit to Paul's Place has been the highlight of our stay on Kangaroo Island. This is not a zoo or a commercial wildlife place where you see the animals from behind a fence, it's a... More

If you have little kids and want to show them some of Australia's native animals or if you just have the need to pet or cuddle a koala or a kangaroo then visit this place - you won't regret it. The sanctuary is easily accessible and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm a 16 year old boy and I totally enjoyed Paul's Place. If you want to see the Australian animals and be very close to them this is the place to go. The tour was totally fun and I could see and touch all the animals. I did even hold a kangaroo in my arms! That was something really special... More
