Totally unique experience if you love animals. Not the usual petting zoo where you timidly feed a lamb, Paul will hand you a kangaroo to bottle feed and put grain on a guy's head to be pecked off by emus. For an extra fee, he'll plop a koala on you where it will hang onto your torso like a tree.... More

Dear Den R, Thank you so very much for posting this review. Paul has always tried very hard to provide an experience which is unique for visitors and does not compare to a 'normal zoo'. Thanks also to the many visitors who purchased small souvenirs and drinks from our two children who worked very hard for several months. All the... More

The 2-hour-tour was simply great. It started with feeding and cuddling kangaroos, emus and other animals. The absolute highlight was koala cuddling (for a small extra fee). The men of the group had to prove their courage while emus fed grain from their heads. Then we went on to a birds foliage, where we could take pictures with different parrots... More

This is the kind of place I would love to own. Paul and his family have been taken care of animals for a long time, and it shows. They love their critters, and the critters love them back. One of the highlights of my visit to Kangaroo Island. Holding a Koala bear, feeding the kangaroos and wallabies, holding a snake,... More

From Adelaide drive 2 hr to ferry to Kangaroo island. Tips 1.Must book ticket in advance 2.Must bring a map of the Island No GPS because no network. No call network also . 3. Reconfirm your reservation and check the road condition. 4. Try to avoid drive after 5pm because you may run over small animal as they appear suddenly.... More

Paul's Place is not what we expected, despite reading ahead of time what it was. It was 10x better, as Paul is an entertainer, as well as a wildlife curator. While we are a retired couple, this place is for all people and all ages. Children will especially like this, as you get to hold all types of native animals... More

Hi Tom F, Thanks so much. Love the title of the review. The opening times and prices are in line to cover all animal costs, insurance and maintenance.
