We arrived just in time to join the 2pm tour. There were several kids in the small group and the tour guide did a good job to engage them as much as he could. The 45 minute tour actually went for over an hour, and we saw some amazing structures. It was interesting and well worth the $18 entry.

Guided tours of the cave occur every hour; there is a two hour tour once a day that is more involved. There are 37 steep steps down into the cave. I was lucky as I was the only one on our tour, so the guide allowed me to wander around taking photographs & chatting about this individual cave. Many of... More

Worth visiting to tick off your 'caves visited' list. Guide was knowledgable & captured our attention. A small cave that has an interesting story as to how it was discovered. Tour is 45 minutes. Purchase the Kangaroo Island pass & visit as many times as you like. There was a fun self-guided nature walk we did to get to the... More

Did the cave tour for the second time yesterday. First time was about 3 years ago. Not much has changed but it was still worth doing, next time adventure caving!

The history and story behind Kelly's Cave was interesting as were the different formations around the cave. We descended down some steep steps to hopefully discover a wonderland. They have discovered 8 caves here but they are still looking for Kellys, the horse's bones. Discovered in 1925 the caves are quite dry now and we felt that the lighting could... More

A nice cave – well maintained and presented but not very special. We’ve seen much bigger ones with a lot more interesting structures and unique formations elsewhere – in China, Malaysia as well as New Zealand. We did this cave because it was raining. At some point, the rain actually turned into hail. So, not a bad idea to go... More

This was great and out guild was excellent. As caves go these would have to be one of the easiest ones to walk thru so all can enjoy.

We had a very friendly and unique tour guide take us on our cave tour, he also let us explore like they did in the times with candles. Its an easy walk and great for the kids too. Just be mindful that there are about 50 deep steps at the start and end.

If you're interested in geological formations, this is the stop for you. The caves are close to the main highway to Flinders Chase National Park and if you've purchased a yearly park pass, you can get into this attraction for free. After a brief walk up the hill, you descend into the caves with a guide who will explain to... More
