These caves are interesting, even if they are modest in size. On a hot day, this is a perfect activity. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the tours are frequent throughout the day (every 45 minutes or so). The entrance fee is modest and walking around the park is pleasant.

We liked the Kelly Hill caves. Had a very strange tour guide which to his credit was very passionate about exploring (perhaps a little too passionate) however the Aussie accent was sometimes a little difficult hard to understand at times

Take the Kelly Hill to Hanson Bay hike for a good medium/strenuous hike. The hike goes through various terrain, forests, open plains and along the coast. Great for photos.

We had a guide with lots of knowledge although at times too much for the kids to keep their attention. Lovely caves, very helpful workers and an enjoyable experience

If you want to cram most of the experiences of southern Australia into one trip then KI might be the one for you. It's quite expensive, as nearly everything, including you and your transport, has to be ferried from the mainland. You have to pay entry for every "attraction" and to be guaranteed the wildlife experience I would recommend Pauls... More

Our family (with 5 kids aged 8-16) took the 45 min (approx.) tour with a really knowledgeable guide. The kids enjoyed it and we had plenty of time to look around at the different caverns. If you have any mobility issues be careful as there is a very steep set of stairs that get you in and out of the... More

Visited Kelly Caves today - and my 2 Boys (11& 14) & I did the Adventure Caving - Our guide was fantastic - What a great experience - If you get the chance to do this - worth the additional cost. An experience you won't forget - Not for the faint heart hearted or claustrophobic - Some walls to scale... More

These caves are dry caves so there is no water dripping. It is nice and cool on a hot day. Some steep stairs to conquer at the start but it is worthwhile. Great viewing and information by our local guide Daniel. He was very informative and enthusiastic. We stopped at four areas and they were all different. They have been... More

If you have never been into limestone caves, please don't miss. You will need to be able bodied as the access is via steep stairs/ladder, but well worth the climb down. You don't need to be fit however. The caves lighting is white, showing the colour variation in the stalactites, stalagmites and the flow stone off to their best. Have... More

Kelly Hill Caves were included in a pass we purchased which gave us entry to some of the main attractions on the Island. The park is beautiful, lots of undercover eating areas and well maintained bathrooms. Cute little shop which had souvenirs and drinks. The walk to the cave entrance is a slight incline and is about 200m long. Once... More
