From good art to feeding kangaroos, it gives children another "must do" in Coober Pedy, Terry the owner is a good man and does it for love, his gallery is nice and Terry living in the outback Australia for so many years will tell you some interesting stories. From George "Underground Restaurant" all my customers come back with good feedback.

This is a rescue place for kangaroos, you MUST be on time for the talks, as the door is locked and no-one allowed in until it is finished, it is a great place to visit.

Our visit was not at the kangaroo feeding time, so I cannot comment on that aspect. We were given a lot of helpful information to enable us to better understand the local Aboriginal art. This was even though we made it clear that purchase and transport of any of the material on sale was not practical for us.

How wonderful to see people giving up their time for a good cause. The love for these orphaned kangaroos is obvious in the way the volunteers care for them which is an around the clock exercise. No cost required but a donation is encouraged for which we all happily did. The various artwork, carvings, jewelry and souvenirs in the gallery... More

Don't miss the 5.30 feeding of Terry's lovable orphans. A highlight of the Cooby Pedy experiences. Such fun to have kangaroos eating out of my hand and the bottle feeding of the Wombat and tiny Joey meted our hearts

Yes its kind of a weird place - artwork and kangaroos but they compliment each other nicely. We spent a little time in the gallery and I purchased a beautiful aboriginal painting - with part(or all? I forget) of the proceeds going towards the kangaroos. As other people have mentioned in both the positive and negative comments, the roos are... More

It's a great 1 hour with some kangaroos. No cost but a donation is encouraged. My kids loved it. It would have been cool if the kids could have had more to do with the little joeys if possible.
