Even though we had seen Kuala Bears in in the wild in the gum trees of the rain forrest in the Otway Peninsula, we had only seen kangaroos in the distance and our Adelaide relatives insisted we spend an afternoon up in The Adelaide Hills wandering through Cleland Wildlife Park. They had not been there since their kids were little... More

A worthwhile half-day trip out of Adelaide- catch the 863 to Crafers, then transfer to the 823 which will take you up the hill to the entrance of the park. Be sure to check the timings for 823 as it only makes three journeys up and down the hill each day. Stop by Mt Lofty if you have time for... More

We spent the morning at Cleland showing our wild life to some Italian Tourists we had staying with us. The highlight of the day for them was when they got to cuddle a Koala.

If you stay in Adelaide you have to visit this fantastic wildlife park. You are able to feed animals and hold a koala. The staff is very friendly and will happily answer your questions regarding wildlife. Don't miss this beautiful and unforgetable experience!

Hire a T-bus, take a cab or rent a car to drive there early. It is a brilliant park, well maintained, well signed and with animals that are well taken care of. You need a lot of time to explore the entire park. If you go in the afternoon, i.e. take a shared bus pick up from Adelaide, you will... More

Great place to experience and interact with native Australian Animals. Just 30 mins out of Adelaide. Local buses go there from Adelaide city centre. There is a cafe inside. You can interact with the native animals and feed Kangaroos and pet them and feed other animals and if the weather is good you can also hold Koalas :) Entrance fee... More

Spend a leisurely day at this amazing park. Well worth a look. The animal enclosures especially the Koalas are so cute.

I love this place so much!!! Coz you can reli see what is a natural environment meant. You can see kangaroos in a near distance. You can pat their backs and talk to them. It is a fun and meaningful experience. The weather is always nice and sunny in Australia. Be sure you wear hats and sunglasses.

great views from the mountain but the park itself was fantastic as you walk through the animal enclosures. lovely place to take a picnic and some nice things in the gift shop. for getting close to the animals this is hard to beat. on a hot day don't forget a hat, the sunblock and plenty to drink.
