The visit to Cleland was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. We loved being able to see the animals up closeand in natural surroundings. We liked that the focus was on Australian animals. Our only regret is that we only had 2 hours to spend there as we came with a bus tour. more

This is one of our highlights from South Australia. Since we are from the USA, there were many animals we had never even heard of much less interacted with.....it was wonderful. My son is nearly 16 but he absolutely LOVED feeding and petting the kangaroos and wallabies. Our favorite was the bilby.....make sure you check them out in their nocturnal... more

So far, this place tops my list of things to do in South Australia. Being from the USA, it was amazing to sit amongst kangaroos (and feed them too) as well as have the opportunity to hold a koala. Prices are reasonable and it will definitely be a day you won't forget more

Went here with a friend. This is a great day or afternoon out. Walk round at your own pace, seeing all the wildlife. Some are behind fences, others roam freely. Get close up to the koalas, chat with their keepers and you can get the opportunity to get close up and touch one. There is also the chance to hold... more

This place was fantastic, especially since my husband and I are Americans and the sight of flocks of kangaroos roaming around right next to us is quite exciting! This was the highlight of our trip, and I HIGHLY recommend it, particularly to non-Australians who won't likely experience feeding a wallaby at home. Plus the scenery is quite beautiful. more

I have family in Adelaide and have been to Cleland twice whilst on holiday. It really is a fantastic day out for all ages. I loved being able to feed the kangaroo's and wallaby's and getting my pictures taken with the gorgeous Koala A must for everyone visiting Adelaide. more

We visited the park in April and were amazed that our 6 & 3-year-old could walk up to a kangaroo, hold out their hand full of food, and the animals would eat contentedly and let us pet them. It was also great fun to pet and hold the koalas. Keep in mind, though, that there are height restrictions for holding... more

Visiting Cleland Wildlife Park in Adelaide was one of the true highlights of my trip to Australia, where I vacationed for 2 weeks in December 2007. The "highlight of highlights" was being able to actually hold a grey furball -- a koala!! -- and have my picture taken with him. The $15 fee for this precious once-in-a-lifetime experience is well... more
