Rundle mall is currently in renovation mode. All trees and highlights removed. Boring pavers being replaced by even more boring pavers. Give it a miss and go to the central market instead

At the moment there is construction work going on...all in the name of progress. Shall look great when finished, just have to put up with it for a while longer.

A great place to buy clothes - everything is conveniently to hand on the one street. I bought a fantastic statement hat for a wedding from the Adelaide Hatters and the nieces had fun in the cheaper end shops.

As CBD shopping malls go, Rundle Mall is fine. It has a good range of shops, from small individual outlets to major department stores, and plenty of eating places, mainly within the larger buildings or arcades off the mall. One big bonus is that Rundle Mall is open almost every day of the year, a rarity in Adelaide which still... More

Rundle Mall would have to be one of the dullest and most uninspiring malls to visit in Australia. There is not a tree to be found but plenty of dull grey concrete. The shopping is average to say the least with dirty side streets with abandoned and unkempt buildings. LOTS of eating places however if you want a quick bite... More

Shadeless, treeless, with nothing to recommend it as far as I am concerned. It used to be OK but in their attempts to "improve" it the powers that be have destroyed it.

I haven't been to this mall since I was a kid born and raised in Adelaide in the 1980's. It was different then, but they had the two big balls. I returned for a holiday and it was still there on Sunday 30th March, but when me and some friends came back the next day it was gone! At night... More

On a busy weekend we walked to Rundle Mall from our nearby Hotel. Nice is see the area buzzing, probably due in part to the Fringe Festival being on, so we were able to enjoy a combination of shopping and street entertainment. As visitors from 'across the ditch', always enjoy Myers and David Jones. (Must recommend the restaurant in Myers).... More

Truffles & Horatio & Oliver (at rubbish bin) & Augusta are unique and unforgettable. Great idea to place them there. I would like to have at least Oliver at my home city too :)
