I love the way the ASO is making itself approachable to people of various ages and their musical genres. We really enjoyed the ASO cirque de symphonie and would highly recommend it
There are many varied opportunities through the year to see and hear the ASO, both with visiting musicians and singers and on their own. The quality is always high and if in the city at the end of February, the (free!) Symphony Under the Stars in Elder Park is a highlight - what can be better than music in the... More
ASO, as us locals call our wonderful orchestra. The variety and talent offered by ASO is fabulous. Tickets prices cater for everyone. They do fun modern shows, like Blue Planet, and the traditional classical shows in the Master Series. Worth a look if you are in town
We lucked it into town when one of the ASO matinee short concerts was on. Simply brilliant, very accessible and a very intimate venue at Elder Hall. A nice addition to the itinerary and Adelaide Artistic Experience. The tea and scones afterwards was a real bonus.
What a treat to have the full Orchestra play some of my favorite rock tunes, in full brilliant sound! Also enjoyed the Blue Planet a few months earlier, narrated by the great Rodney Fox
This Concert on 26th April with the Guest Violinist Chloe Hanslip was excellent and it was a chance for an out of town visitor to go to a concert in the Adelaide Town Hall. A great experience and a wonderful performance.

The show was brilliant and the orchestra outstanding. We had attended a performance... More
A pleasure to listen to the orchestra play during a Fringe performance with Pete Murray, right downtown, where families could come along in daytime and enjoy the music and gain an insight into classical alongside other genres.
Listened to the Orchestra in a different capacity - accompanying the Festival's showing of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Have always loved the movie but the orchestra made it so much more special. The Blue Danube and Thus Spake Zarathustra have always been favourites of mine and been a major factor of my love of the movie. The movie could have... More
