We went for a walk around the park very nice walk with plenty of bird life to see on the river. Its an easy walk so most people can do it well worth a look when in Adelaide.
a disclaimer, we live 50 mtrs form the park, in the NE (Highbury) area so we could be considered prejudiced BUT it's great. paths are for both walkers, runners and bikes. Views of the river (creek?) and hills are all around. Quiet, safe and just a wow of a place to exercise and get back to nature. I'd suggest going... More
Live less then 100 metres from the linear park between the city and the sea! Great place to walk and cycle - and even exercise if you wish to use the exercise equipment in Kidman Park or Underdale! Even in 40 degrees celcius days, most of the park is in shade! Gotta love it!
Pretty park and nice walk. As you would expect in a pretty old city. Good on you Adelaide. Love the atmosphere on a sunny day too
It's fun to ride the paddle boats and to take time out and spend time with family,or that special someone or just hang out with friends, nice walking track always a pleasure to go to.

The cycling route is great and the final bit as you approach the ocean is just gorgeous.However,... More

This is a well kept, lovely riverside track. Lots of locals use it for walking or cycling and the ambience is just great. The river is calm and you will see ducks, swans and perhaps pelicans too nearer Elder Park. It's an easy walk and is very enjoyable. Perhaps walk in one direction and then get the Popeye Cruise back... More
