The trail is probably the best investment a state government could make, its the best use of the land next to the o-bahn tracks and no matter where you live along that route there is a peaceful walk / tide etc

This is a great running trail - relatively flat and completely separated from traffic well suited to a weekend long run or a long strole. The few cyclists seemed to appreciate the need toslow down and give pedestrians room.

Had an evening jog along the river Torrens, feeling peaceful and calm with the greenery and accompany by the black swam and other birdies.

This lovely river walk is a slice of nature artfully restored. It allows pretty intense foot traffic side by side with habitat for a pretty diverse flora and fauna along a curvy little river, in town. I was visiting for a medical convention and was charmed and relaxed by walking through it. I was intrigued by both the similarity of... More

It's a very pretty walk along the linear park. If you're really energetic you can go all the way to the beach from the north-eastern suburbs. Follow the river and the bus track.

Walked this on a pretty hot day in Adelaide - friend I was with didn't mention that it was rated by TA as one of the top things to do in Adelaide until after we had done it. Not quite sure why it's #3 currently, as though nice, it's very easily replicated (e.g. I;ve lived next to several linear parks... More

We went for a walk around the park very nice walk with plenty of bird life to see on the river. Its an easy walk so most people can do it well worth a look when in Adelaide.

a disclaimer, we live 50 mtrs form the park, in the NE (Highbury) area so we could be considered prejudiced BUT it's great. paths are for both walkers, runners and bikes. Views of the river (creek?) and hills are all around. Quiet, safe and just a wow of a place to exercise and get back to nature. I'd suggest going... More

Live less then 100 metres from the linear park between the city and the sea! Great place to walk and cycle - and even exercise if you wish to use the exercise equipment in Kidman Park or Underdale! Even in 40 degrees celcius days, most of the park is in shade! Gotta love it!

Pretty park and nice walk. As you would expect in a pretty old city. Good on you Adelaide. Love the atmosphere on a sunny day too
