This was a very long day on a bus stopping at three or four wineries. We only had tastings and a cold lunch, with no wine, and no actual winery tours. The Barossa Valley is beautiful and we enjoyed the fall scenery. The stop in Hahndorf for coffee on our own was a bit too long, but it did give... More

We had only two days in Adelaide and this was a must for us. Not too rushed with commentary on many aspects of Adelaide and the surrouding districts by the driver/guide Marty. Niced morning tea with small cakes and also lunch at the Chateau we good. We only went to one winery (Jacobs Creek) however we spent some time there... More

This was done some time ago but it was a worthwhile trip. Lots to look at a beautiful lunch and port tasting afterwards then on to some more vineyards for tasting. A wonderful day out and would recommend it to anyone visiting Adelaide

We took a tour with Gray Line that included Barossa Valley and the pictureques village of Hahndorf. It was pleasant, relaxed, the wineries visite (specially Orlando) gave us a good perspective on the industry in the area. The driver/guide (Martin) was knowledgeable and passionate. A well spent day.

Do it!!! We only had one full day to do anything and chose this trip to the Barossa Valley. Marty "cuzzie" made us all feel at home in his bus…he was like being with the mayor of Adelaide: he knew everyone, his instructions would be like: go to this place and talk to "Sheila, Bob, Adam, etc…" everyone in Adelaide... Was a rainy day but who cared - visited the Big Rocking horse and Toy factory and animal/kangaroo sanctuary where the animals roamed freely, great photos. The Whispering Wall did just that amazing acoustics. Chateau Yaldara visit showed the storage of various sized wine barrels some with intricate carvings, this was very informative and the visit was topped off with... More

Relaxing day, about an hour to Barossa. Went to Jacobs creek for morning tea, nice visitors centre. Onto Handorff in the hills above Adelaide, quaint german town, very popular, lots of cafes, trees. Nice to sit and relax.

This is a must for any Adelaide visitor. There are two companies that offer this tour and we found that Adelaide Sightseeing was cheaper than Grayline. We also did a package with two other one-day tours and had a half day city tour free. This tour was really enjoyable and not too much time sat on the coach, although after... More
