coastal area of Adelaide beaches are beautiful. Seek the remote beaches for tranquillity and privacy and crystal clear waters. Drive down to Christies Beach, Aldinga Beach, Maslin Beach. have a dip at each beach and wonderful things to discover. Stay on the coast. Then head to best part of it all McLaren Vale Wine District, stay overnight and enjoy beautiful... More

This was a very special experience. As a resident of a very crowded part of the northern hemisphere (washington DC) I really felt like I had left the planet when I arrived at the beautiful beaches of Semaphore and Glenelg in South Australia.Everything is upside down, east is west, west is east, winter is summer, summer is winter etc. in... The beaches are never ending if you drive along the roads against it.. and so are all those lovely movie lookalike beachfront houses! Nice place to day dream!
