A great way to relax and see some views. All though the trip is only 45mins to an hour it's a lovely way to see areas you can only see with a boat. The captain was friendly... read more

While walking around the area we noticed POPEYE CRUSIE timetable and waited around until 10am on Tuesday 26/01/16. The short cruise was a pleasant short trip and cost $30.00 for the 2 of us. The captain explained about landmarks and historical buildings while cruising along, an enjoyable trip and we both got off near the stop towards the zoo. We... More

Nice views but not really a lot to see. Pleasant way to get to the zoo. We got the free bus back to the cbd so it cost $30 for the 3 of us one way.

Very scenic cruise, a must do in Adelaide. Captain provided good amount of information. Trip can be paid by card on the cruise. This cruise also may act transport to Adelaide Zoo.

A slow and relaxing cruise up and down the Torrens. Not a lot of commentary, but it's nice 45 minute chill time. Not overly expensive. Could do with upgrading the garden seats.

We hopped on board at the main launch by the casino - arrived at advertised time, boat clean and comfortable. The on board commentary was excellent as was the opportunity to hear and view aspects of this beautiful city. Good pricing highly recommend, my 6 year old had a great time as did I.

Started our day with this great little trip down the river to the Zoo. The kids loved it & the boat driver was wonderful, friendly & informative.... pointing out landmarks & snippets of Adelaides history as we cruised... letting my grandson start the boat and sit in the skippers seat!! Love this town!!

After wandering the lovely (hot) riverbank and parks along it, a trip on the Popeye was cooling and refreshing. I got off at the Adelaide Zoo, then hopped back on and finished the cruise later in the day. Lovely.

We live in Adelaide but I have not been on Popeye since my son was a young boy, about 20 years ago. We decided to catch it to adelaide zoo as my partner had never been on it before, I was surprised just how relaxing and informative the commentary was along the way. The captain really enjoyed driving the boat,... More

The Popeye boat cruise is a relaxing boat ride. It doesn't travel fast so is relaxing. The Captain explains about local scenery with interesting information. Can catch this boat from the City to or from the Zoo as well. Or do the round trip back to the City.
