Change of Pace

A fun change of pace for our day trip to Hamilton Island. It wasn't cheap (but nothing is there) but it was worth every cent.

A quick inspection of this venue looked interesting, so we decided to go back for a session and have some reprieve from the heat as it was air conditioned. Cost was $45 for one hour per lane. Normal bowling shoes are not required and there is complimentary shoe 'hire'. Just remember to bring some socks. There are only 9 pins... More

Good family fun for night time. A couple of warnings - the return of the balls fly back fast and are a pinch point. My daughter bruised her fingers and another mother adjacent did at the same time. Make sure they book your reservation correctly. We booked a second time and caused a stir when another family claimed our lane... More

We had this spot on our plan this visit as we were not able to last time we were here due to time constraints. Arrived right on opening time 1.30pm. The first question asked is have you a booking. We were very lucky and were able to play straight away. This venue is orientated for families with children. 9 Pin... More

Had heaps of fun with the family ! The mini games available changes the game up a bit from just your regular bowling. We all had a laugh and was reasonably priced

Six of us for an hour. Not your typical ten pin bowling. Different games to choose. A lot of fun. Great if the weather isn't the best and in our case the entire five days we were there! We have young kids (3&4) and the bumper was a simple switch to put on for the kids and then take off... More

There is one night a week that has a special family program complete with games and prizes.....ask at the tourist centre or stop by the alley and ask when that is as it really is s lot of fun and much cheaper too. My young teenage daughters and I love doing this together every time we come to the island

Had a really fun time here. We are not serious bowlers so weren't that worried about the fact that it is 9 pins. You can put bumpers up and down yourself so can be used by adults and kids in same lane. It wasn't just normal bowling, there were lots of different games you could play while hitting the pins... Great game to play to have a break from the sun. It's a little different to 10 pin bowling and they have heaps of different games you can play that can make it fairer for those not so good at hitting the pins! Good fun at $49/hour for the lane.

this is9 pin bowling and although its only 1 pin short of the preffered 10 pin bowling they are worlds apart...its a poor mans version and I cant see why they didn't go all out and use 10 pin...its virtually impossible to get a strike for a start...I asked if anyone has ever got a strike and the girl told...
