We booked for lunch and found the service from the ferry ride, transfer up to the clubhouse and restaurant staff were great. The menu was extensive and of the meals ordered were of a high standard. Everyone enjoyed their choice and we stayed longer to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the fantastic views whilst having another wine. A must do... More

We paid $65 per head for a two course lunch, launch transfers and a buggy tour of the back nine of the golf course. Excellent food and service and the tour was amazing, breathtaking views across to Hamilton Island and beyond. Well worth the money

Partner played golf whilst my daughter and I were taken on a trip round the island on individual golf buggys - lovely way to while away the time. Had lunch in the clubhouse beforehand and this was excellent too.

We dined here today for lunch on the $69 pp special for a 2 course lunch and tour package from Hamilton Island. I have to admit, for $69 my expectations weren't 5 star, but it certainly over delivered. Interestingly, every staff member I met over my week on Hamo, strongly recommended popping over to Dent Island Club House for a... More

Food was beautiful. I had the oysters three ways and they were yum! They are doing a new oyster with a lime sorbet now and it was really lovely. Other meals we ate were great too. Service was A+

Very disappointed with our only round of golf on our first visit to Australia. Good ferry to Island course, friendly staff. Hired clubs - very poor, billed as Calaway but damaged, taped and scruffy. Course is quite a challenge, unless 18 h/cap. Many balls lost and rough is like a jungle. Views are spectacular. Drinks van failed to reach us... More

We went for the $65 lunch deal and it was a last minute booking so we didn't get to have the tour of the golf course. The meal is excellent value but the extras can add up. The food was excellent and the staff even provided paper and colouring pencils for LIttle Miss 8 to keep her amused.

The golf course is superb and very challenging due to the wind coming onto the course, in other words allow for the wind. Make sure you carry a few more golf balls than normal because you will lose most of them. Do not attempt to search for a ball in the bush because of the snakes!!! Make sure you take... More

As an avid golfer, I was very much looking forward to this experience. I had researched the golf course online and was ready. The boat ride over was nice, the boat driver was a champion, we were met at the jetty by the golfcart to take us up the hill. The cart attendant was very professional, he explained everything and...
