Brilliant. Amazing, Superb. What a great day out and I don't even play golf. We went over and had a scrumptious lunch, then went on a golf cart tour of 9 holes. The most amazing views were to be seen. Back to the fabulous Golf Club for coffee then boat trip back. I highly recommend it.

This par 71 course is located a short boat ride from Hamilton Island on nearby Dent Island. The course measures 6,120 metres (6692 yards) and is the only championship island golf course in Australia. The course has been designed by champion golfer, Peter Thomson, to challenge all levels of golf enthusiasts, from resort guests to professional golfers. The course may only be accessed via ferry from Hamilton Island Marina and bookings are essential.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at the golf club last week. We booked for the $69 lunch special. You are told when booking that they have a strict dress code. Men must wear a collared shirt, no rubber thongs or board shorts! That is basically the extent of it, don't bother dressing up! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Nice ambiance, quiet...

Friends told us to do this $65 luncheon at the golf club and so glad we did very nice lunch , ferry ride & own buggie to go on tour - do it glad we did.

We booked in for the $65 lunch special one day and included in package was a tour around the golf course in the golf buggy's. I was apprehensive as I'm not someone who is interested in golf but its a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. The tour around the island course was great and I really appreciated the layout...

We planned to visit only once, but ended up playing 18-holes on two consecutive days. The service from course staff was flawless, we couldn't have asked for more. Course was so interesting and challenging, the views are one of the best we've experienced.

The Hamilton Island Golf Course is amazing & the restaurant is a welcome haven to relax & enjoy 1st class food. The steak Sandwich is excellent. The Lunch special at $65 is great value with return ferry, two course a la carte lunch , tour of the golf course & spectacular views
