We went to Green Island to see the Great Barrier Reef, which we did, but it rained a lot and we needed something else to do with the kids, so we followed the signs to the crocodile habitat at Mainland Melanesia. The crocodile feeding was fantastic, and all of the staff were knowledgeable and taught us a lot about crocodiles.... More

Crocodile attractions are pretty common in QLD so I was a bit wary about this one - no need. The crocodile show was great, informative and interesting but for me the artworks on display around the park was a real highlight. The setting is perfect and the collection is extensive - it really is worth a visit for that alone... More

Great attraction and well worth seeing while on Green Island. It's a shame there wasn't more publicity about this because more would make the effort to see it. Great souvenir shop, much better than Green Island shop!!

Beautifully clean, animals look healthy, informative presentations. Dislikes - nothing. Home of the Guinness World record largest croc in captivity, Cassius, who is impressive! Learn about crocodile habits and environment, watch their awesome power as they feed. There are also hundreds of examples of primitive art collected from the original owner.

A small collection of crocodiles and fish that are easily viewed as the enclosures at quite small how ever all the animals spear in excellent health. The main attraction here is Cassius the largest crocodile in captivity world wide.... How can you not want to look at that !!!!

Impressive animals - you get a good view of the fierce creatures without getting in harms way. The crocs can only commend respect - they are perfectly designed for what they do.

Although quite small, it is unique with its combination of predominantly crocodiles and Melanesian artworks. The croc feeding shows occur twice a day - morning and afternoon. Your admission price allows for return entries for the duration of your stay. It is worth going to a few feeding shows as different crocodiles are fed. We saw two shows hosted by... More

We didn't think there'd be a lot to do on Green Island with a toddler so this was a nice surprise to find a Crocodile Farm. Small compared to Australia Zoo but you get a better view of the crocs here and some friendly brave staff who feed them! Would return to the island for a revisit. They supply aeroguard,... More

We recently went on a day trip to Green Island. After snorkelling for a while and having lunch we went in search of something to do. Marineland Melanesia was only a short stroll from the main beach/restaurants, was inexpensive and looked like it would be interesting. After heading in the exhibits were great with lots of artifacts. We were able... More
