Swim in crystal clear water, give yourself a body scrub at the same time . At the end feel revitalised and energised

Stunning fresh water lake on a sand island in the sea. Used for WW2 training and when you swim in it your jewellery sparkles when you get out. A MUST see.

Lake Mackenzie is quite simply a fantastic place to visit. The drive in is quite daunting , but doable if you take it easy. Insect repellent is a must. Toilets are the cleanest on the island.

This is in my top ten of the most amazing places i have been to. Just beautiful. It can get a bit crowded, especially when the tourist busses arrive, but that is a small price to pay to see this place.

Lake McKenzie is a glorious and stunning perched lake. It has to be one of the most beautiful of the 40 lakes on Fraser Island. Second visit here and was lovely as ever! The water was clear and the temperature just right. The kids enjoyed playing piggy in the middle and building sand castles on the beach.
