The Beachfront Camping Ground has a toilet block on site and the ability to light fires at night which was the reason we stayed. It's not fenced so Dingoes will visit during the day and night, we saw a few. The showers are located nearby in the Waddy Point Top Campground. It's busy with traffic to and from the beach... More

Just stayed here with the family and had an amazing time. We were booked into the beachfront as the top campsite was full but it wasn't so we moved into the dingo enclosure area. Good showers and toilet area. Great beach out the front, when the tide goes out it leaves great channels for swimming plus the fishing was good.... More

Waddy Point has great fishing and little spots on the beach for kids to swim. Also up near the rangers station is an enclosed BBQ area which is free.

I now know I have to write 100 characters for this message to get through. It is a very boring exercise but if these things confuse tourists that would be harder. I don't know how much text 100 characters makes and last time played around until I got cranky. Hope this is enought.

Champagne Pools marvellous - but try and plan for high tide ; although not always possible , unless you want to maroon the 4WD vehicle. Bucket lister for me

This is a dingo-fenced Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QWPS) managed camp-ground located back from the main beach (2-3 minutes walk). Well laid out, spotlessly clean facilities (toilets and showers) and one of the now few places you can have an open fire (in the provided fire pits) on Fraser Island. Tips Bring plenty of AUD$1 coins for the HOT... More

Waddy Point is approx 1 km north of Indian Head which is a great fishing spot. To get there you four wheel drive along pristine beach front with rolling waves. You need experience to transverse the many gutters alond the beach

Waddy is agood place to stop for lunch before or after visiting the Champagne Pools. It is a calm protected bay that has a camping ground that is great for kids.
