After we tried to take our small Rav4 through the dunes to the beach and got stuck, towed out and back to the resort, we booked a somewhat large vehicle to go on our adventure. The dune drive was bumpy but interesting. The beautiful views of the beach as we arrived onto 75 mile beach were breath taking. We drove... More

If you take all precautions as told in videos, this beach drive is heaven! Mils of clear beach with easy driving conditions, with surf on 1 side, occasional beach planes taking off and great sites to visit. It took us about 45 mins from Cornwells break road (North to Eurong) to Maheno ship wreck (by driving safe at 40-50 km/hr)

What a magnificent clean and fairly empty beach which is not spoilt by the vehicles driving on it or the planes landing on it. So much better than I had imagined as the beach accommodation was well hidden and the only crowded place was Eli creek.

This is a truly amazing drive and is one of the best beaches in the world I've seen. It's clean and soft sand make it perfect as a beach. When driving try and stick to the wet sand close to the sea and this provides the hard sand and safest to drive on. You get to see shipwrecks on the... More

The longest most beautiful unspoilt beach I have seen in a while! A lovely drive if you have a 4x4 vehicle.

Absolutely loved being in the tour bus driving along this beach while other buses, 4WD and vehicles shared the sand. It was beautiful and the drive was quite smooth. We stopped off at Lake Ellie and the Pinnacles and also the shipwreck, all along this 75 Mile beach. Great drive, and must-see!

The views on this sandy highway are just beautiful. Just driving here is an experience by it self. A few high lights are directly on 75 Mile Beach

This would have to be one of the prettiest beaches I've seen. If you have ever been to White Haven beach in the Whitsunday's this one is just as beautiful.

Seventy Mile Beach is long, flat, and beautiful sand. Lots of people camp along the edges. It is quite a destination for camping. Frequently see wild dingos on the beach. Much of the dingos food sources have been removed from Fraser Island - herds of wild horses, for example, so the dingos are pretty interested in any food left around,... More
