Description: The three-kilometer strip of golden sand between Surfers Paradise and the...
The three-kilometer strip of golden sand between Surfers Paradise and the Pacific Ocean is Australia's iconic beach, a postcard-perfect locale that conjures up 'paradise' to millions.Throughout the year, our beach welcomes swimmers, joggers, surfers and strollers from around the Gold Coast, around Australia and around the World. There are a few simple things you can do to ensure that your day at Surfers Paradise beach is a safe and happy one.Always swim between the red and yellow flags. If the flags aren't up, it may not safe to swim, so always ask a lifeguard if it's safe to swim if you cannot see the flags. Check for additional beach signage, as this may change every day. Read the safety warnings. Check with a lifeguard about beach and water conditions if you're not sure it's safe. Put your hand up and stay calm if you get in trouble in the water. Stay sun safe: Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen, slap on a hat, seek shade and slide on sunglasses. Leave valuables at home or in your apartment.

This is a beach you wanna visit if you're in your 20's and maybe still wanna try the topless thing. Lots of eateries around and shops to check out. Mostly visitors come here, the locals go elsewhere...

Great Market Stall set up with lots for everyone young and old great artistic displays. Easy parking along beach ..watch out for parking officers .. they always around..also it feels like a lot of shady character are hanging around ..just keep your eyes open ....worth wile going for a late afternoon stroll along the beach promenade. Surfer's Paradise beach is one of the most nice beach I have ever seen, it is clean, long and safe for the families, the town take excellent work to develop this beach to suit every one taste, I have select this beach for my family to spend our first holiday in the Gold Coast and it was the right decision.

Just an average beach in Australia there are much better beaches in Australia people need to explore other beaches such as White Haven and Byron Bay and Burleigh Beach.

I have lived on the Gold Coast for 43 years and the Surfers beach front is regularly upgraded. The present Esplanade is the best yet. It has wide stairs to the beach, wide areas for walking, modern furniture for sitting and showers for washing off the sand. I was very favourably impressed when I ventured to Surfers on the G:... Surfers Paradise Beach is magic. The beach is of course a surf beach,. The sand is claen and white. There are lifesavers who patrol the beach. The only impediment is that there are high rise buildings that shade sections of the beach in the afternoon. Notwithstanding well worth a visit and swim.

Great Beach. Famous for good reason. First thing we noticed was how the sand squeaked when walked on! Very clean and clear water. Lots of small sea shells abound in the water. Water was cold in August but with a bit of getting used to is fine.

Surfers paradise beach is truly amazing. Many lazy hours were spent with my family in June (their winter) of 26 degrees sun. Must have been too cold for the ozzies that the beach was empty for us. We had a lovely time. As nan lives on the. Gold Coast she knows just how to enjoy herself. 😉 must go beautiful... More
