We chose to take this evening out as it was well reviewed and we are so glad we did. You need to book ahead as its not that large, and the only way to get there is by their pick-up service which was spot on. Not that far out of Port Douglas but a different world when you get there.... More

It is such an amazing sight to see of a night time when it is all lit up. The staff are so wonderful and helpful and the food was fantastic.Travekl to and from the venue is by bus transport which is understandable as the road is quite tricky. The bus drivers are very skilled and careful which makes the whole... More

A very private, romantic and glamorous venue for a wedding. Food was delicious, the service was attentive but not intrusive. Could not fault the whole experience.

I had looked forward to seeing this, and was totally knocked out with the whole experience. I loved the lighting and entry, and fabulous wines served with a happy smile. When we were seated for dinner we were a little dismayed to be so far from the stage BUT during the performance the two story tellers came to our end,... More

As an American traveler, I was looking for an experience that seemed to encapsulate my vision of tropical Australia - exotic foods, superb hospitality, lush rainforest, didgeridoo music, and aboriginal culture. The Flames of the Forest Aboriginal Cultural experience succeeded in delighting all of my hopes of tropical north Queensland. The wine never stopped pouring & our table mates made... More

The bottom line up front is that Flames of the Forest is only about 10 minutes away from Port Douglas, but the ambiance will make you feel like you are on another plane of existence altogether, with an evening in the rainforest full of great food, mood, music and stories. This review is for the "Aboriginal Cultural Experience" menu, which... More

My wife took me to flames of the forrest as a 60th birthday treat. The concept is great and well presented. As soon as we arrived we were offered great wine and tasty offerings.
