“Magical night”

I cannot recommend this highly enough! Loved everything about it, the secret location, the setting, the food, wine, the entire experience was fantastic. Yes, it's expensive, but so totally worth it. Loved the Aboriginal Cultural Experience, loved everything about it. Will be back with my husband soon!!!

“An amazing setting unfortunately with poor service and bad communication about dietary requirements”

We visited Flames of the Forest on the first night of our honeymoon. My husband called ahead to confirm and advised of dietary requirements which was that I don't eat red meats. On the evening I was still given meat dishes and when I mentioned we had spoken to the office regarding this the waitress was nothing less than rude.... More

“A great setting...”

The setting was great. I was however a little disappointed that they only have wine no bar to purchase anything else from! I also would have expected that for the money you wouldn't be sitting on plastic chairs at a trestle table... The food wasn't really anything special. I would only recommend going here for the ambiance

“Special setting! A hidden gem!”

You really can't explain the setting, other than enchanting, magical, beautiful and romantic! I've never been anywhere quite like it and it really is a dinner with a difference and a 'must do' for anyone visiting port Douglas.
