Truly amazing experience of the barrier reef. The tour is well designed to offer you a chance to discover the reef. From the moment you step on the ship, the crew will take good care of you. The ship will take you to their pontoon on the reef where you can dive, snorkel, submerge or even fly. A must do... More

This is a great experience and the only way to see the Barrier Reef (if your not a diver!!). The crew are friendly and want to share their knowledge with everyone! so ask questions..! Quicksilver run two cruises, one is to the inner island (which is good) but the best trip to go on is to their own floating platform,... More

We decided to book for the outer reef attraction given the forecast of light winds and low swell. The trip out to the reef was smooth and the weather was perfect. The facilities were fantastic as was the Buffett lunch. We started our experience pontoon provided diving, snorkelling, underwater viewing by a semi submersible and a helicopter flight option. We... The cruise departs from the wharf at Port Douglas. Get there a little early so you can line up and get a good spot on board. The vessel has a number of levels and fills up quickly, so to guarantee a window area be early! The trips takes just over an hour to get from the wharf to the reef... More

Everything ran well, very informative, great food, great snorkelling. The staff were polite and the snorkelling gear was clean and had a great system for their use. The pick up and returns were well organised.

Quicksilver is a convenient, clean way to survey the reef. As such, it is widely used and very congested. The guides are nice, and the ship is clean and well designed - they dock at a platform in the reef that allows a very nice lunch service, scuba and snorkeling and time in the sun. What that means however, is... More

Great facilities on the pontoon - if a bit utilitarian- spent ages snorkelling and I only had one session before going out there. Session under water with glass helmet and body weights - feeding fish in front of you gave me a real buzz ( Ocean walker helmet dive) Do take lots of money as there are so many options... More

What an incredible day out! Awesome experience from start to finish. Staff were great and super friendly able to cater to any needs, special thanks to Jen who took care of us for the day. Semi sub experience was great able to see so much without even getting wet, lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a pod of Dolphins... More
