We loved the snorkel cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, they even provide lycra wet suits so you don't get stung by poisonous jellyfish. The only reason I rate 4/5 is because the boat (and water) was VERY crowded. Would be nice if they offered a less crowded tour on a smaller boat. Still, loved the snorkeling, and buffet lunch... what a wonderful place to visit.the staff were unbelivable, the first port of call with these lovely people was your safety first then the attractions. There was scuba diving which was fantastic but the highlight of my day was the helment diving. I was really wanting to do this for ages but i was also afraid. The staff especially Tami put... More

We are not good swimmers but we wanted to see the GBR. This was the best way i could imagine. We took a 20-25 minute tour in the submersible boat floating alongside the fish and corals without actually getting our selves wet. Food was good (not great) but given that we were in the middle of the ocean on a... More

Staff all very friendly and professional but overcrowding, rude noisy and selfish fellow passengers spoilt it for us. Trying to listen to commentary was a joke let alone anyone listening to safety messages. The reef was amazing and that made it all worthwhile really. The reef is amazing the knowledge and experience of staff is amazing shame people have to be... More

This is a great tour if you do not want to get in the water, and ok for a snorkeling experience but way to restrictive. The boat we were on was only a quarter full. It would be horrible if it was full as the snorkeling area is very restrictive. I still had a great day out but finished frustrated.... More

Our experience with Quicksilver Cruises was beyond excellent. My husband is disabled, and the staff at Quicksilver did everything imaginable to ensure that we not only got around okay, but also experienced as much as possible during our day. We took a ferry out to the pontoon, and staff approached us during the 1.5hr ride to discuss options for my... More

The cruise itself was nice, and the weather was good, but we found the water to be colder than we expected, so didn’t go in the water for the snorkelling! They have an enclosed area they take you to, so you are not actually “free” to go too far from their area.

We did the Great Barrier Reef tour with this company and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were lucky the day we visited the reef that the waves weren't too high so it made for a much smoother hour and a half trip to the reef. Visiting the reef and snorkeling was an incredible experience. The crew thought of everything and were... More

Great boat, plent of room even though there's more people than some of the other providers. Friendly helpful staff, great lunch. They stop at 3 sites to dive and snorkel...mind blowing! Trip of a lifetime

We did this trip on a day when the winds were light and the Coral Sea was calm. The Quicksilver is fast and the and the 1.5 hr. trip was very smooth. The accommodations on board are comfortable and relaxing. Because the boat is so large it is a good option for those who suffer from motion sickness. Everything was... More
