Loved, loved, loved the Quick Silver Cruises tour to the Great Barrier Reef!! It was a fantastic day with lots of activities for everyone to explore. The jet boat travels out to a platform where you get off and hang out for the day doing whatever you want to do. The boat is fast and the staff use the time... More

We were very lucky the day was perfect, no wind and bright and sunny. The glass bottom boat was a great experience and snorkeling the reef was amazing. This is a very well run operation and worth a trip if you want to go out to the reef. Lunch was just ok, but they were catering for huge numbers of... More

There were around 300 passengers on board on our trip on 20th May and I can only imagine the carnage when the boat is at full capacity. There is no order on board, snorkelling tours were advertised and passengers were warned these sold out the previous day. People everywhere and no logical queuing system fighting their way to book on.... More

The hordes of fellow tourists on our cruise to Agincourt Reef detracted from the natural beauty of our surrounds. After the stampede to secure prime seats on board, we found ourselves in the middle of the boat without a 'window seat'. The trip to the reef passed pleasantly enough but upon arrival at the reef lunch was served immediately, so... More

Free Shuttle pick-up from and back Cairns! There are more than adequate staff working on the ferry and on the platform. There are so many different activities for a first-timer to do. I wish we had even more time on the platform! We joined one of those short snorkeling trip, led by a Marine Biologist, and it was a fun... More

This was such an awesome way to experience the Great Barrier Reef. All from this boat you can snorkel, dive, take a helicopter ride, go in a semi-submergable boat and have a fabulous meal. It was an incredible day and my family and I loved it! We saw FIVE sea turtles and the most amazing fish. My son has not... More

This was my first scuba in the open sea after getting PADI certification in the UK. The whole operation was very slick though initially a bit heavy on trying to sell "add-ons" during the ninety minute fast catamaran ride out to the Outer Reef. Briefings were held during the journey, so on arrival at the large permanent dive platform, it... More

If you like mass market excursions like those offered on large cruise ships this may be your cup of tea. If you are looking for a more personal reef experience, look elsewhere. Expect a ninety plus minute boat ride out to and back from the reef. The ride can be quite rough and our boat was packed (400 plus people).... More

Took a day trip to Agincourt reef which was breathtaking! Coach service from my hotel in Cairns was easy and the boat ride was very smooth. Agincourt Reef should not be missed. Pristine, full of vibrant coral and fish. Once in a lifetime experience. Recommend

We flew out to the semi-permanent platform at Agincourt Reef by helicopter (30 minutes). As others have said there are lots of facilities on the platform and a range of ways to see the reef, but it is clear that the near reef has been affected by so many people. I understand that during the busy months around 500 people... More
