Spent a long weekend at the Sheraton Mirage and played 3 rounds of golf on this course, while the couse was in need of some TLC, you could see the work was in progress. The Pro shop team was fantastic, service was excellent. We left our clubs and bags at the Pro shop for the weekend and they were always... More

The aquatic driving range was fun. It faced West so wear sunglasses or go in the morning. Bit lake with a basketball hoop mounted in the water for a bit of fun, also little targets like floating plastic ducks. We are a yong couple and not frequent golfers, but we loved it! Bring bandaids due to humidity you will get... More

Hey, this course isn't as it was back 20 years ago but to be fair we were happy considering the green fees we paid. We played 3 rounds over 3 days...things are looking up maintenance wise...definitely want to come back in 2 years to see the progress! Still fun and challenging! We'll be back!

We got up early to go to the gym. Walked across on a very hot morning only to find a run down old smelly gym . There was something wrong with the water bubblers and they had not water - just dirty jugs left out. The aircon was also not working. We lasted 10 minutes and walked back in the... More

My teenage son wanted to play some golf during our visit to PD and the lovely folk at the MCC were very obliging. I thought the cost of hiring clubs and playing nine holes very reasonable - and it includes an electric buggy (with ice-filled cooler) which makes the whole thing that much more enjoyable, especially in the heat and... golf course improving. very good lap pool. well maintained pool and great shower facilities. dilapidated tennis courts - avoid at all costs until renovated, just like gym. needs water-proofing. look for fantastic wildlife, including rare, tiny sunbirds, scary, huge crocs, green tree snakes.

I very much like this course but it does need a bit more work to keep it up to snuff. I get the cost issues so I can overlook this and enjoy playing here. Ho are those weird QLD on course smoking rules, you can only smoke on selected holes! Weird but fitting for FNQ...

Quite simply this course should not be open for business. It is a long time since I last played a course so badly neglected. Staff tried to assure my family and I, keen holders, that the state of the course was due to cyclone Ida but nothing could be further from the truth. Neglect. You can lose a ball in... More
