What a wonderful place to visit. A long day from Cairns (bus pick up 6:50 AM - drop off 6:15 PM at the motel) about an hour to Port Douglas then the Daintree. It was magnificent - huge rain forest ferns and vines. A juvenile cassowary, bush turkeys, butterflies organic ice-cream. Great tour guide who is passionate about everything and... More

Me and my partner had opportunity to join trip from Cairns to Port Douglas then Daintree Forest Tour with BTS Tours (28-29 May 2015). While the destination was certainly amazing to see, our biggest inspiration came from People of Port Douglas including our bus driver Mick. Was his tour not only enjoyable and educational, his passion and zeal fulfilled whole... More

Seems this is the only business that runs a transport from Cairns to Port Douglas and return; according to the tour desk at our hotel anyway. I have to say the shuttle bus is small and uncomfortable and the driver we had on the trip up to Port Douglas certainly did move the bus along and at times I felt... More

From the moment we were picked up in Cairns on time, to being dropped off we had one of the best experiences of the Daintree region we have had. Firstly we were shown where the large jug of water was which was good as it was fairly warm. This is the 3rd trip to the region and although I have... More

Plot - pickup at hotels and start from port Douglas and it takes 1.5 hrs to get to the Daintree rainforest and the same on the way back. The actual stay is about 6 hrs and is memorable and informative. My driver kept us entertaining on the way in to the Daintree rainforest with tidbits and some detailed narratives on... More

One of the best tours to date! Phillip shared his wealth of knowledge about the Daintree rainforest beautifully. We canoed down a forest stream, enjoyed a lovely lunch at Cape Tribulation and were lucky enough to witness a few crocodiles on the boat ride around cooper inlet. Thank you Phillip for a very enjoyable and memorable experience.

We went on the full day Daintree Rainforest tour with Philip as our guide. There were only four in the group which was nice. Philip had a great sense of humour and was extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest - we learnt lots in an interesting and memorable way. We were not prepared with swimmers which was unfortunate ( the brochure... More

Day trip to the Daintree recommended by Peppers Beach Club and loved every minute of the day. My partner celebrated her 50th birthday (Nov 19th) and if we had a guest list, Mick would be on it. Felt welcome the moment Mick arrived punctually at 8.30am and soon got to know the other friendly passengers representing all corners of the... More
