I went out from Cairns for the day for a dive, not having dived for over 2 years. The whole day was great, well organised and the staff friendly and helpful. The guided dives were fantastic, saw massive clams, turtles and amazing coral. Totally recommend these guys :)

I want to thank Jason, Megan, Brice and the rest of the crew for teaching me the skills of diving and showing me the beauty of the great barrier reef. My friend and I chose CDC for our trip to the Great Barrier Reef and we loved every minute! We had only planned to stay 2 days but stayed an extra day because we were having such a great time. On the first day we took the day boat 'Reefkist' out to the liveaboard boat - the Kangaroo Explorer. The... More

The staff were amazing and always were there to answer any questions i had and made me feel at home the minute I got there. There is always a place to chill out and the spots they take you to (especially... More

The boat was clean and comfortable with plenty of good food. Everything was organised and we had a pickup from the hostel and drop off at the end. Big thanks to Silvio our... More

My girlfriend and I recently stayed onboard the Kangaroo explorer for 2 nights and 3 days. With very different degrees of experience with diving and snorkelling (my girlfriend had never been diving before and I am a certified diver) the staff dealt with both of our needs brilliantly! Brice; our diving instructor not only guided me through my advance PADI... More

We got picked up from Trinity Beach at 6:00am and dumped at CDCs office. Told to go get a coffee and wait for 25 mins. Then went back only to wait another 20 mins to get dropped at the Marina. Not the bus drivers fault he had to go pick up other people. I should have known by this how... More

dive instructors were simply not trained enough or experienced enough or cared enough to actually be able to deliver an efficiently run dive. at least ten minutes of each dive was wasted on adjusting weights for inexperienced divers. Considering each dive only lasts an absolute maximum of an hour, that's a 15% penalty for everyone due lack of professionalism, training,... More
