Usually I don't write reviews but in this case I have to do an exception to express our good feeling from this trip. It was really great from very beginning. Atmosphere on the boat was brilliant, snorkeling itself was even better. Honestly recommend trip with Cairns Dive Centre, it's really worth!

We did 5 day open water diving course with CDC and it was awesome. Crew onboard Kangaroo Explorer was great, food was good and our intructors; Jason and Silvio were the best. We highly recommend doing this course with CDC to anyone.

I took a day tour on the RKIST and the whole day was a shambles; to say the least. There is no real briefing done before each dive. There was a lack of communication between the dive masters, and this led to confusion amongst the paying customers. My dive buddies were constantly changing. On my second dive, I got as... More

The weather forced the cancellationof a few dives but with some shuffling of schedules the team still managed to get us in the water as much as possible. The food was very... More

Im not sure, but positive that Ethan (instructor in our course) is a semi god. Did 5 days course. Highly recommended, even with bad weather. Saw turtles and shark. Awesome food too! I dont write reviews, but this was worth it.

Apart from being in the best place in the world to snorkel&dive, I feel very lucky because now I know I chose the best company in Cairns to have that experience! It's the second time I've done the reef, the first one was with Cairns Dive Centre, the second one with a different company (I'm still regretting that choice). I... More

CDC is a fantastic small reef boat. They have either day trips to the reef, or live aboard that you can learn to dive. The staff are very helpful. I highly recommend this boat
