The Sunday markets were a great attraction. The boardwalk through the various rainforest areas was a pleasent as surprise. Although take some insect spray.

Spent a few hours exploring these gardens and was pleasantly surprised how well presented they were. Easy parking, lots of walks were possible with our pram and our little boy loved looking at everything. Great for a jog too.

As a local I love the gardens with plants of a difference. It is so peaceful to walk around. It does not cover a big acreage but the paths meander you around the area showing many types of our local palms, gingers and it has one of the largest flowers of the world.

The Gardens are a free attraction. Make sure that you get a free morning tour. Our guide was really terrific. Gave us opportunities to take pictures and we still moved right along and so quite a lot. It really is stunning.
