Good to visit if you stay nearby. It's sandy beach and not very long. I do not suggest to visit this beach if your hotel is too far from there.

Beautiful unspoiled beach, quiet and natural, surrounded by hills and mountains, with lovely views of the Pacific Ocean

Roydon apartments worked out great for us - husband, wife, and college-aged daughter. Large apartment, well-portioned. Very well kept, and I can see in that climate being meticulously clean is essential to keeping out bugs, etc. The caretakers were very nice, and can arrange tours if you like, and rental car from a local. It worked for us to rent... More

Stretching North from Cairns is a string of beaches, from Machans to Ellis, the further North you go the less muddy the water is on average. Well... there's lot of sand and it's a nice beach, but you cannot swim any elsewhere than in stinger net area. The view on Trinity beach is ok, but there are better beaches nearby.

A very small nice village located on the open wild sea. We stayed there for three days, in a three bedroom flat in Roydon Beachfront Apartments, next to the sea. On one of the days, we walked with the kids all around the sea shore. We entered the wild cold sea, while it was warm outside, without any fear. Only... More

Trinity beach still retains a small local village feel although there are many accommodation places. The beach is pretty & the foreshore gardens are lovely. The restaurants are good, my favourite is the Italian Lunico.

close to cairns, not too touristy and a few lovely restaurants on the beachfront, including LUNICO which had a great menu and friendly service right opposite the beach
