Lovely quiet cove. Great for a relaxed holiday without the commercialism of other resorts in the area. It is a short walk to Kewarra beach through the backstreets. Easy drive to Cairns for more restaurant choices if desired. Smithfields shopping close by and more shops a short drive to the North.

This little gem about 20 minutes north of Cairns is excellent if you have been to Cairns before. Great restaurants, great beach, great accommodation. THIS is the place to get away from it all - not as busy as CNS and not as back-packery as PD. It is close to all the tourist attractions on north side - Hartley's, Mossman,... More

A short drive from the city is the seaside suburb of Trinity Beach. There is plenty of parking, easy walk along the esplanade, toilets, BBQ's, shelters, tables and seating. All this adjacent to a group of cafés and eateries. The life guards were I. Duty and there is a stinger free netted area for swimming. A superb place to visit.

We went up to Trinity beach from Cairns on a recent holiday, it was a really enjoyable place. Beautiful beach, spectacular scenery. Short drive from Cairns.

Love this beach, as it's not as crowded as Palm Cove. You can relax and enjoy a bit of sunbath (or even swim) without much distraction. Great view as well. one advise is the beach faces east, so visit it in the morning would be the best.

Trinity Beach is lovely. When I stayed it was busy around the beach and the restaurants, but it wasn't completely manic. The beach itself was clean, the water a comfortable 23 degrees and lifeguards were in attendance at the swimming enclosure. There's a relaxed and happy vibe along the Esplanade, especially near the intersection with Trinity Beach Road.

This is a nice area which is not as commercial as Palm Cove or Port Douglas. There are some nice cafe and restaurants for those who just want to enjoy the views without the crowds.

I loved this beach. Its a little less populated than palm cove and the shore is lined with palm trees. Great spot to bring a picnic and some ciders. White sand and blue water, what more can you ask for....Ok, well maybe water that you can actually swim in. Be aware of stinger season

We travelled to Trinity as tourist and pleased we did. It is a lovely kept beach and a valued attraction to Cairns. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from for a bite to eat.
