A full day tour that is great value for money. This being my first trip to the reef I was ready to soak up all the information provided and enjoy the activities on offer. An early morning boarding a light refreshment of coffee or tea and we are on our way. Soaking up the sun and wondering what we may... More

Our experience with Ocean Spirit Cruises to Michaelmas Cay was just great. The staff was very friendly, food excellent, and the equipment very good. It was nice to snorkel from the island rather than from a boat. The same day we took this trip, others snorkeled with another outfit from a boat - very one on the other boat got... More

This has to be the best ever trip I have ever had in my life. Approaching the Cay on one of the numerous boats that travel from Cairns Marina, I could not believe how beautiful it was. So picturesque and peaceful - until you hear the cacophony of seabirds that live there that is.All manner of seabirds have claimed this... More

A must see and do. We went out twice while we were there and enjoy ourselves so much. So much to see and do and nature at it's best.

You have to jump on a boat to get here. Please make your choice carefully. When you get here it is lovely. Not much to do other than snorkelling or watch the birds.

Loved the beach, the water was crystal clear and really warm. A great day at the reef. Negative: bad smell coming from the birds area.

Upon recommendation, we skipped Green Island and went out with a dive boat to Michaelmas and Upolu Cay. Love, love, love it! The waters were so clear. I'll be back again with the girls as soon as I can!

The trip out the reef was great with friendly staff and plenty of morning tea available. The reef itself was showing signs of over use with the fish few and far between. The lunch was excellent and the trip back was enjoyable. The Ocean Spirit is a sailing catamaran but with no wind the sails were not used.

We went on a snorkeling/diving excursion that first stopped off at Michaelmas Cay. I was disappointed. It was just not great -- I had really high expectations. Fortunately, we then went on to Hastings Reef which was beautiful.
