We drove up to Karanda and stopped at the Baron Waterfalls where the scienic train makes it's way to and from Cairns. The views are beautiful. Lots of birds and bush wildlife was seen. We then drove onto Mereeba stopping at some coffee plantations and buying some local roasted beans. We then drove onto Atherton and the Spanish Castle. Make... More

Atherton tablelands are beautiful. Waterfalls were magnificent. Paronella Park was an absolute treat. WELL WORTH THE DRIVE.We drove round trip from Palm Cove, Kuranda, Atherton, Innisfail, Palm Cove. Big day but well worth it.

Just loved that a castle is out in the middle of nowhere. Lovely walk round the garden, a great tour(passionate) but she was difficult to understand

Super drive up to Kuranda---terrific market stalls there with different, quality goods, do make sure u have home-made icecream from street stall van with the whacky retired chap. Fab icecream, had 2 & rarely eat it otherwise. Then on to Atherton & drive back to Cairns via Yungaburra and the Gillies highway, you won't regret it.

We had visited Paronella Park 17 years ago and were not sure whether to go back again. Our memories returned and the day out was enjoyable. The buildings have deteriorated over time. Several of the buildings we were able to enter last time you could only view from the outside. The Paronella story is still fascinating and children would also... More

Innisfail was my father's childhood home & my sister & I wanted to see where he grew up. The country side is to die for -... More

Very enjoyable day trip, great driver (Greg) spectacular curise on Lake Barrine with fresh scones. Giant Curtain Fig Tree & even saw a Tree Kangaroo, but didn't see any Platypus, but that is part of wild life. A great lunch provided with afternoon tea at Paronella Park. It was a long day but well worth it

Keep one day on your schedule for a trip to beautiful road trip through the country side and old heritage villages. There are so many enagaging spots in the entire circuit. Pick up a map before you start the trip to make sure you cover most of the views. .must do in Queensland
