No visit to Cairns would be worth it without visiting some of the many waterfalls. My favourite is The falls at Paranella Park and everything about the place really. A must do.

I can highly recommend a visit to the Castle. The history as told to us by an excellent tour guide, plus the surrounds are one not to be missed.

This was a definite highlight of our time in FNQ. We did both the day and evening tours and saw such different aspects of the park. Our teens were enchanted by the story and the dream. Definitely a location to add to your itinerary.

Really enjoyed our tour with FNQ Travel that incorporated all these areas. Loved the waterfalls and the Spanish castle really shows what one man can do.

Loved the Atherton Tablelands area, it was nice and green, not like where we were headed which had not had good rainfall for 3 seasons...loved Millaa Millaa Falls, great picnic and swimming spot, We then travelled to Mount Surprise and George Town and Cobbold Gorge, a must see !
