Situated on the Tablelands about 15k from Atherton . Beautiful selection of cheese made at the property and an outstanding selection of chocolates and fudges all sold from their café. Coffee Tea and drinks also available. Don't miss it

We are Cairns locals and when we go to the Tablelands and visit relatives, we have been to Gallo's on several occasions. Our daughters love the baby animal farm and looking at all the cows and we truly enjoy sitting for a lovely cup of coffee. Food is very tasty, variety of meals is not huge, but there is something... We had been recommended to go here to eat the cheese platter. I'm not sure whether they were understaffed this particular day, but it took about 15 minutes just to place our lunch order (at around 2pm) & another 30 minutes before the platter appeared. Further dishes took another 10 minutes. The cheese platter looked appealing, with a nice selection... More

Lovely clean spacious tea coffee and snack stop. Good cheese tasting and facilities. It includes a live farm animals display for kids off the car park. The car park does smell like a farm yard but then again it IS a working dairy. A pleasant stopping point some distance from town.

We enjoyed seeing the farm animal attractions at Gallo Dairyland, as well as the delicious cheese and chocolate tasting. Recommend trying both the Macadamia cheese and Rainforest cheese. We also had lunch here and the burgers were excellent, the locally sourced beef is spectacular.

Good to see the farm animals although my daughter didn't like the smell. staff were nice and friendly, best cheeses were the flavoured ones like macadamia.

The took the trip up from Cairns to Atherton and then drove on to Gallo. A great days outing and I popped in there for a graze. There were Holstein cows in the paddocks. Holstein you ask. Yes, those beautiful black and white cows. They were everywhere. Upon opening the car door, I could smell fresh cow dung. I am... More

This is a great place to take visitors. There isn't a huge range of food on the menu but the prices are reasonable and the meals have a home cooked flavour. This is a visitor centre for the dairy farm & the range of chocolates is great. Wonderful gifts also. It's a family run business so this experience is personalised.... More
