Fun place just west of the Gillie's Highway. Tasty cheese. Great chocolate. Very friendly staff. A bit out of the way from Cairns (about 1 hour).

We visited after some lunch with friends and tasted many of the cheeses on offer. The cheese, chocolate and coffee were of the highest standard. Service was very good and swift considering the number of people present. Definitely worth a look and the food was well priced and good quality too.

we turned up 40 minutes before closing and were welcomed warmly. we're more cheese than chocolate fanatics and the staff were more than happy to set us up with a takeaway cheese platter with some tea to nibble on in house before we travlled onwards and upwards. well worth the visit, especially to hear about how they make lactose free... Yummy cheese platters, plenty of chocolate and ice cream to choose from. Great to see cows getting milked and the small animal petting zoo.

This is well worth a visit. You get to see cows being milked which kids will love. They have a great cafe for home made scones etc and you can buy their very own cheese and chocolate to take home. It's a lovely stop as you drive around tablelands.

Unfortunately cheese making wasn't happening on the day we went to Gallo's but we still tasted (and bought) delicious cheeses and chocolates before visiting the animal nursery with miss 4. Worth a visit.

Interesting place for a visit, there's not a great deal to see or do and the cheese and chocolate are very good but a bit pricey.

We visited to taste the various cheeses and chocolates made on site....Scrumptious cheeses and chocolates to taste and buy to bring home. The cheeses are rich creamy and full of flavour and they cater for lactose free as well. Chocolates with fillings and flavours, we just couldnt choose which ones!!. You can stop for a cuppa and snack as they... More

I've visited Gallo's a few times and loved it every time. The milking is a novelty if you haven't seen it before (my parents had a dairy farm so nothing new to me but my boyfriend loved it), the food is great and the view is amazing! Sunday lunchtimes are busy! So be prepared for a wait for your food,... More

A good pace to visit if in the region. There are several products to taste. The yoghurts were very yummy especially the Greek Yoghurt. There is also some jewellery to purchase.
