This place is worth a visit if you are doing the trip around the Tablelands. Cheeses are amazing and you can sample before you buy. They were making cheese in their factory so we could see a bit of that too. We bought several cheeses to snack on in our hotel room. Their hand made chocolates are divine. A special... More

The whole family ( about 15 of us) decided this was a place not to be missed. Greeted by the smell of a diary farm not to some likes but hey its a farm. Tasted & purchased some yummy cheese and choc and all stopped for drinks & lunch. Even had cows out the back for the kids.

We had a delicious cheese platter for a light snack that catered for 3 people followed with gorgeous chocolates. A clean & quaint cafe with excellent service. See our before & after pics of our platter :)

We shared the cheese platter, which consisted of 5 varieties of cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, dried apricots & figs. It was a good size & was nicely presented. We bought 3 of the cheeses & some Lemon Myrtle chocolates, after sampling them too. Other meals also looked delicious. You can see the chocolates being made & watch the cows being... More

Travelled from Cairns thru Kuranda, Mareeba, Atherton, Lake Barrine and back to Cairns. Stopped at Gallo Dairyland for lunch and to sample delicious locally made chocolate and cheeses. Loved the cheeses particularly and bought a wonderful Gruyere and a "Volcano" sun dried tomato and chilli cheese. A must visit for anyone travelling near Atherton. I recommend lunch at Gallo's followed... More

I didn't quite know what to expect when we arrived but it is basically just another shop selling products that you can sometimes see being made. There was no chocolate being made whilst we were there nor any cheese making going on. Milking was just starting. The young lass at the cheese counter was certainly happy for us to taste... More

Yummy cheeses and chocolate. Our first visit and worth the drive but sadly too late for lunch! We bought lots of different cheeses and the friendly staff packed it all on ice for us.

Expected a lot after talking to people but this was a bit of an anticlimax. Whilst the product is top notch the service and experience lack. There wasn't any family character or country flavour to the service provided. Lucky the product is good otherwise it would have been a wasted drive out!

We've been here a few times over the years and always love popping in. There are some really great chocolates that the girls loved and some awesome cheeses.. The prices might seem a bit high but to be honest I've seen twice the price for half the quality in Melbourne and Sydney so just enjoy the food.
