I saw this tour and booked it online. Originally booked for the Saturday I was called as there was no one else booked for that day so I changed dates. The tour runs with a minimum of only 2 people. Be aware there are windy roads to get to and from the tablelands. However the views are magnificent. The tour... More

Warwick was a very lovely guide who was patient, funny and informative. We just stayed in Cairns for a few days, and we spent a very happy day with him. He did his best to introduce everything to us in detail. We got much more than we expected from the advertisement. This tour is highly recommended to every one, especially... More

This is a family friendly tour. One wine stop, a cheese and chocolate factory, nut farm, coffee farm, and a tea room. Worth going on, but the guide was rather pushy during our trip. For example repeatedly trying to take the chocolates I bought away from me (actually grabbing them out of my hands) and telling me I need to... More

Kath G, Thanks for your review, as feedback allows us to improve what we do. I will accept criticism over taking the chocolates. We usually place chocolates in the ice box so they do not melt in the vehicle during the heat of the day, and I am sorry you didn't appreciate the joke about not eating your lunch. The... More

I was initially skeptical of food and wine tour as it sounded like a slower paced tour, so my expectations were low going into the tour. However, Warwick, the owner/operator did a great job making the tour interesting and informative. Warwick also did a great job with the logistics, unlike an experience I had with a big tour operator in... More

I’ve been to the Tablelands before, however this was the most interesting – I learnt so much! It was also very relaxing as everything is organised - no waiting for food orders or tours … jam and cream scones on arrival at Lake Barrine and lunch at a Heritage Hotel on the Tablelands. We learnt about cheese making and had... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our day. A big thank you to Warwick, our tour guide, who went out of his way to make our trip a great experience. So informative. We were going to hire a car but glad we didn't.

Robyn. Thanks for your wonderful review. Hiring a car does get you around, but as you heard and saw there is a lot more to the Atherton Tablelands, and Wet Tropics World Heritage area, with only around 70% of it being rainforest. Thanks again Warwick Manager More

My husband and I really enjoyed this Tour. Warwick the Tour Operator was excellent with his knowledge of the area and also his great sense of humour to make it a really fun day. It was great to have different experiences going to the Macadamia farm and also the coffee plantation. Nice also to have a small group on the... More

I really enjoyed this tour. Warwick was very informative and the places we visited were interesting. Our small group from all around the world got along very well. Well worth doing when in Cairns.

Annie, I have to thank you for your 5 star review. There is a little trick we use in the morning. Rather than let everyone sit all over the place at morning tea, we sit you together, and walk away. That way everyone interacts early in the day, which then brings the group together, which you may be surprised to... More

Our day out was a small group of five for the day, all Queenslanders. Warwick was a mine of information (and jokes) and we visited a number of local producers and icons on the Tablelands. We also stopped at the scenic lookouts. Lake Barrine Tearooms had beautiful scones and views, the Gallo dairy for cheese and chocolates including a cheese-making... More

Topaz_M We have to thank you for your review. It's good to hear you enjoyed the exclusive cheese-making presentation we provide. Access to the Macadamia Plantation, is only available with Food Trail Tours, and it is good to hear you enjoyed that visit too. We thank you again Warwick More
