Interesting tour, more food than wine though which surprised me. Most of the venues did Gluten free and lactose free products which i was pleased about and we visited a coffee platation which was a first for me.We also visited other tourist hotspots in the tablelands such as the iconic fig tree. Warwick was a strict timekeeper but an informative... More

Tour Guide Warwick did an excellent job with lots of useful & interesting information along the way. All destinations were great with the exception of the fruit wines, which were still interesting although not to our taste. Well worth the trip as we learnt a lot about the Atherton Tableland and had a great day to boot. Recommend.

Thanks Warwick for a fantastic day. Tour owner driver, knows all about the area, no questions threw him, very knowledgable. Not so sure about the tropical fruit wines, but everyone to their taste. Highly recommend this tour.

He's definitely the very best tour guide. He has his own tour where he takes his passengers. He's very knowledgeable about everything and everywhere he takes people. I always recommend him to everyone.

A very good way to visit Atherton Tableland. Warwick was an excellent guide with interesting anecdotes and personal touch with a small group. Tasted fruit wine, some great cheeses, chocolate, visited coffee plantation, macadamia plantation, and had a good lunch in a restored country pub.. Far better way to see the area than the usual boring coach trip.

We have visited Cairns many times over the past 30 years and thought we had seen and done it all. However, this time we discovered Warwick's food and wine trail, a one-day (7.30am - 5.30pm) bus trip around some of the Tablelands' innovative and scrummy artisan foodie producers (cheeses and chocolate, macadamias, coffee plantation, fruit wines and liqueurs) and tropical... It was thoroughly enjoyable and I was glad to have joined the tour despite its price (considering it was the same price as the reef tours but we screwed up anyway due to seasickness) The guide was very experienced and equipped with much knowledge throughout the tour and would point out interesting things on the way. He really witty and... More

I was prepared to deal with this tour mostly for my wife's sake, and so we had something to do while the reef tours were cancelled due to the Cyclone (Nathan) that was coming through. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself, with Warrick's friendly relaxed chatter about a huge variety of topics. I've had time to reflect,... More

Tom, H Thanks for your feedback and comments. We are currently waiting for another plantation to complete major renovations. When that is complete people will have a quite different video, a drive around the farm, a look at the harvester (possibly not during harvest), and a look at some of the other equipment. More

Warick is a very funny guide with great deal of knowledge about the history, social and economic development of the region, and of course of various vegetations in the rain forest and food produces. It was a very interesting mix of rainforest, cheese, chocolate, macadamia, wine and coffee. We did buy quite a lot of cheese and some chocolate and... More

This is a great tour all in all. You get to go out to the less touristy parts of the Wet Tropics up around Cairns, meet the locals and try all kinds of locally produced food and beverages. We got a private tour since no one else had booked it for that day, so we got all the information and... More
