Cheap but high quality diver course. Best price we could find in Cairns and no regret whatsoever. We got instructed by Hadynn and though I got the feeling a classroom environment isn't where he is most comfortable he definitely shines as soon as you get in the pool or boat. Our group had 7 members and he took great care... More

Dive Down Under use a decent sized boat which heads out early to a reef about an hour from Cairns. On our trip there where however quite a few people who were seasick as the conditions were quite choppy. We chose to do two dives, one at each of the sites they spend a couple of hours at, and elected... More

amazing! it was my birthday, so the staff made sure to make it even more special! we opted for the scuba dives over the snorkelling (so many people snorkelling!) and loved our instructors. would reccomend this company to anyone. the staff were so funny but kind at the same time. it was such a great day

Did both the 4 day open water and 2 day advanced course with this company. It was my first time ever diving and I've only snorkeled once before but I felt very safe going in the water with our open water instructor Hadynn. The advanced course was definitely worth it as well. Got 6 more dives and much more confidence... More

So impressed with my day today with Down Under Cruise and Dive. Great staff (Elvis is a champ), great boat, lovely food and perfect snorkeling areas.

We flew in on the Nautilus Helicopter (which was an experience in itself) and viewed the spectacular GBR from above. Breathtaking, eye opening, awe inspiring...a must do for everyone! On landing on the pontoon at Hastings Reef we snorkelled for 2 hours straight. I've been three times to three different reefs and I'd have to say, this one tops them... More

An experience of a life time - to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef! And to top it off we were serenaded by Elvis all the way home! In fact all the crew were awesome. They made the whole day so much fun but were also highly professional, thoughtful, and well organised. A great day out.

Went out to the reef yesterday with Down Under Cruise. Crew were very friendly, Elvis is a laugh and makes everyone comfortable. The 2 reef locations were good, lots of concentrated coral which meant lots of fish! I only done snorkelling but they provided snorkel, mask & flippers, also float jackets and noodles if needed. The bbq was nice with... More

This was an excellent day tour. The crew were friendly, helpful and professional. We were taken to two separate locations to snorkel and scuba dive. As novices, we found the level of attention and assistance pitched perfectly, ensuring our first diving experiences were unforgettable. The food provided was good - and the live music on the return to Cairns made... More

We had the most unbelievable experience scuba diving three times on the reef! Seeing an amazing amount of sea life, white tip reef sharks, turtles and rays all spotted by our awesome guide Jackson! Jackson is a fun, knowledgable diver who made it an ultimate experience. Aaron guided us on our second dive through caves and tunnels that we would... More
