I did one of Billy Tea's tours up to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree. It was fantastic, a massive day, lots to see. Our guide was Matthew (and we bumped into the other guide Brendan a few times) both guys were awesome. I learnt so much, we saw many crocs and were lucky enough to see a young Cassowary. It... More

I decided to take 2 of my grandchildren aged 9 on this tour and was glad I did. We started our day early 7am and left our resort to rendezvous with our 4 wheel drive transport and guide for the day (Matthew) We travelled the Capt Cook Highway towards a wetland safari park where we enjoyed a brief morning tea.... I took a day trip to the rainforest with Fin. He was a great guide and the people on the tour all seemed to really enjoy. Of all the tour guides I had while in Australia Fin was certainly top of the list. In the morning as we were boarding the mini bus he introduced everyone to each other which... More

I honestly didn't go into this tour with a whole lot of expectations. Old rainforest with lots of trees and plants. I thought that might entertain me for about 10 minutes. But I was wrong. We were picked up right on time and we had a nice intimate group of 8 people. Our guide, Finn, was awesome. This guy has... More

My wife and I went on the daintree trip yesterday. The whole experience was terrific and I now GET the importance of the Forrest. Our guide Brendan had some issues with on overheating engine but kept his cool and worked tirelessly to satisfy our need, hisknowledge of and passion for his job and the Forrest was something we will treasure, one thing... We booked the trip online months in advance and we were picked up from our hotel exactly on time. Our guide for the day, Kathy, was very knowledgeable having been brought up in the area. She made a walk through the rainforest come alive, explaining how different plants were used, and pointing out various animals' home we would have otherwise... More

Thoroughly enjoyable day's outing. The year before we had taken a P&o cruise with a Port Douglas stop & a Daintree Rainforest visit right at the top of our bucket list - sadly we were unable to get off the boat & were bitterly disappointed. Finally being able to visit the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest was a dream come true... More

Hi Annette, As this was a trip at the top of your bucket list, we are so pleased you had such a lovely time. Cassowaries are very rare so its simply a matter of luck sometimes. We hope seeing scare face made up for it. Many thanks for your lovely feedback and perhaps we may have the privilege of showing... More

Absolutely the best. Extremely knowledgeable guide, beautiful scenery. Emmagen creek, rainforest boardwalk, Cape Tribulation Beach were stunning....not to mention kangaroos to hand feed/pet at lunch, crocodiles and lots of birds on the Daintree River. Perfect for adults and children over ~ 10. Thank you!!

We had the most wonderful day with Brendon as our Guide. The Daintree has been on our Bucket List for some time and we were so fortunate to have chosen Billy Tea Safaris! We toured the Daintree River and saw the crocodiles up close and personal! Lunch was delicious, and afternoon Tea was interesting with the tropical fruits and we... More
