I wish I could give 3.5 on the TripAdvisor app! The guys at Billy tea don't deserve an average mark they were very informative and the tour was very in depth and interesting, unfortunately, I think the price is a bit steep even taking into consideration the massive lunch! Driving through beautiful parts of QLD was amazing and the walk... More

My partner and I experienced the Billy Tea tour in early July. We were picked up from our accommodation in Port Douglas and were instantly felt welcomed, included and the day was already set to be great! Our tour guide was a South African gentleman (apologies for not remembering names) and he was so accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable! Our day... More

My son and I took this tour while in Cairns. It was our first trip to Australia and I think it is a great way to see an important area in Australia's culture and ecology. Another reviewer below said that it is a bore and only for the old. I am sorry he felt that way. Even my 16 year... More

Today we went on the Daintree rain Forrest and Cape tribulation trip. Andrew our driver was great, informative and professional. Driving through the sugar cane fields, spotting crocs on the Daintree River, a walk through the Daintree, BBQ lunch, a swim in a waterhole, and the treat of seeing a cassowary chick and a monitor lizard. A scenic walk at... More

We did a safari tour to the Daintree forest and Cape Tribulation with Billy Tea. Our driver, Jaan, was extremely friendly and answered every question we had. He was able to show us a lot of details in our rainforest walk. Lunch was good and the afternoon damper with Billy Tea was awesome. And he was eagle-eyed for he managed... More

Hi, We are so glad to hear the wildlife were plentiful and out to play the day of your tour. Sightings of Cassowaries are very regular however five chicks in toe is truly special. Jean is a great guide and is very passionate about his job. We will pass on your compliments to him. Thanks for taking the time to... More

The interesting and informative local picks to showcase a unique and spectacularly beautiful part of the world in one day was an enjoyable experience to taste the Daintree Rainforest. We experienced the river, the rainforest and local delicacies through the passions of our knowledgable and personable guide, Cathy.

I did the trip to Daintree and Cape Trib yesterday and it was great. Our guide Brendan was a local man with so much local knowledge and history. Talked a lot but all really interesting stuff about the forest and local history. A long day (12 hours) but worth it and I learnt so much

What a day!! Cairns to the Daintree for a river cruise with 17 crocs counted on the cruise. A walk through the rainforest, Lync Haven for lunch and feeding the kangaroos, up to Cape Tribulation and 4wd along the Bloomfield Track to Emmagen Creek. Billy Tea and damper by the creek before a drive back to Cape Tribulation Beach for... More

Billy Tea Safari wins hands down as the best tour of the primeval Daintree Rainforest. From the moment we met our guide Neville, we knew we were in good hands. He was warm and personable (and really knew his stuff!) He instantly turned a group of twelve strangers from around the globe into a band of friends. The small four... More

Billy Tea Safaris was recommended to us by the Cairns Visitor Center. We did two different tours with them while in Cairns, and we thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The first was to the Chillagoe Caverns, and the second was the Daintree Forest trip. Both tours picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in a couple of... More
