We took the tour up through the Daintree and Cape Tribulation. The guide had great knowledge of the area and was willing to share all that he knew. Very friendly as well. While the drive was long the bus was comfortable. Favourite part of the tour was eating the ice cream on the way home.

Really nice tour of Daintree Forest and Cape Tribulation. Unfortunately we didn't spot the Cassowary and no crocodiles either, but it was still very good. You really get a sense of the area and the forest is stunning. The food is great!

We did 2 tours with Billy Tea - the 1 day Chillagoe Caves/Outback and the 1 day Daintree/Cape Tribulation/Bloomfield Track. They were both very different, unique tours which were amazing and insightful. They cram a lot in - from what you see, how far you travel, what you do at each stop and what you hear from the tour guides... More

We took the day tour to the Daintree forest and Cape Tribulation... it's a long but comfortable drive! We were there in November so at the end of the dry season. The forest was not as green and animals and birds were hiding. Favourite part of the tour: the fruit tasting and presentation, the BBQ, the walk in the forest... More

Fantastic rainforest safari in a 4wd with a great driver/guide/fount of all knowledge Fin. It was brilliant learning all about the area and its history, flora and fauna as we travelled along, past Port Douglas and into the Daintree rainforest. The 4wd Bloomfield Track was exciting and we swam in a forest stream, having morning tea and tasting local exotic... More

HI Charmaine, Fantastic, we love to hear that both a Cassowary AND a Crocodile were out showing themselves off on the day of your safari. Our guides are very experienced and most importantly very passionate about the areas they visit. Fin will be pleased he could impart some of his abundance of knowledge to you. Thanks for the great review... More

Our tour guide Cathy was very informative and the tour took us to places we couldn't see by ourselves. Loved the creek swim with an afternoon tea of damper and tropical fruits. There was a lot of driving, but plenty of interesting stops too.

As family of 2 adults and 1 boy aged 12 we did the Daintree Rainforest tour and the Chillagoe Caves tours the next day. Both very enjoyable days with varied things to do. The Caves tour is a lot of driving for our son but the Cave is good fun.

Thanks for the great review. We value your feedback and are very happy your enjoyed both day tours. It is unfortunate the Chillagoe Caves are just that little bit further than we would like but as you said it is well worth the extra drive. We hope you also found the mixed scenery from rainforest to farm land & dry... More

We went to the rainforest from cairns, our fault really but the result of this is we spent most of the day on the bus - this may suit some but wasn't for us. It took an hour to Port Douglas, then another hour to Mossman, a nice hr long river trip, another spell in the bus, a 30 min... More

Hi and thankyou for the review. There is definitely a lot of great locations to cover in the rainforest and the distances can be quite large for some. We appreciate your feedback and realise that perhaps this tour is not suitable for everybody. Happy New Year and safe travels. More

My wife, daughter and I spent four days in Palm Cove in August and wanted to see the rain forest before we left. Billy Tea's was recommended by the hotel tourist desk and so we booked a full day 4x4 tour. We were not disappointed! Our tour guide, Cathy, was very knowledgeable and had loads of stories to tell. The... More
