I went to Cairns for four days diving trip. I rode Ocean Quest for 3 days and spent my last day at Silver Swift. At the first time, overnight diving trip was the main thing for me but Silver Swift turned out to be much more interesting for me. I am a master scuba diver so I had 3 certified... More

Silverswift really does boast professionalism, along with a 'no expense spared' kind of feel. The boat is modern and luxurious, with ample downstairs seating and an open upstairs area with tables. If you fancy a shot at one of these tables though, you'll need to be quick and your better off in a middle seat than an outer one. no... More

The Silverswift is the dive boat I took out of Cairns Exceptional experience-dive master Ty thorough and experienced. I did three dives; 6 divers, including, Ty in my group. He pointed out many underwater creatures and formations I might have missed on my own. With 82 people on board, one would think confusion would abound--not so. The organization of the... More

We went out for the day and my wife and son went snorkling whilst I dived. i enjoyed the diving and enjoyed the quick turnover of dives, no sitting around wasting time liek other operators. Paul was our DM and he was excellent, very professional. Having dived around the world and come across some absolute dangerous shonky incompetent operators (Qatar... More

This was the third of our trips booked through this company. The first was on Ocean Spirit to Michaelmas Cay out of Cairns, this was more relaxing and friendly, plus you got to go on a sandy cay with a bird sanctuary. The reef was OK. The second was Silversonic out of Port Douglas. The crew were more workmanlike, but... More

Went out for the day, the sea was choppy, fortunately I had taken some sea sickness medication but crew have plenty if you need it, herbal and over the counter medication. Boat was smooth for most of journey, stopped to see a pod of whales breaching nearby. Crew knowledgable about the reef etc. Plenty of food and hot drinks included... More

I have snorkeled on 4 of the Hawaiian Islands but I have never did a dive. We were vacationing in Cairns for 4 days on our Asia/Australia/New Zealand month long holiday so doing a snorkel trip in the GBR was a must. When I signed up the kids and asked them about doing a dive they were all in. I... More

Silverswift was one of the first boats to leave, and is the fastest (and smoothest), so you get out to the reef before anyone else, which is great. Was on the day trip, and back before 4pm, with 3 dives under the belt. They have hot water showers at the back, which is good to warm up with between dives.... More

Diving is no speed sport! All was fine. Very professional, good knowledge about dive techniques, animals and coral see as well. We booked 2 one day trips. The 1st day was better than the 2nd! It depends on the guide, the divers and the weather. On each days it was to fast! Not enough time to heat up between the... More
