Silverswift was one of the first boats to leave, and is the fastest (and smoothest), so you get out to the reef before anyone else, which is great. Was on the day trip, and back before 4pm, with 3 dives under the belt. They have hot water showers at the back, which is good to warm up with between dives.... More

Diving is no speed sport! All was fine. Very professional, good knowledge about dive techniques, animals and coral see as well. We booked 2 one day trips. The 1st day was better than the 2nd! It depends on the guide, the divers and the weather. On each days it was to fast! Not enough time to heat up between the... More

I went for a day trip on the 12th of july to the barrier reef with silver swift and was an amazing experience. The crew is really helpful and they create the right atmosphere to enjoy the reef. I have done 3 dives and i really enjoyed . My dive master was TY and he is just awesome to explain... More

Overall a very good experience with sliverswift. Staffs are friendly ,professional and helpful!! divemaster Ty explained very clear and gives us a lot reef knowledge. He had a particular emphasis on safety and still made sure we all got the most dive time possible! His professionalism, yet general friendliness is commendable. The boat is big, clean and comfortable with cute... More

I was really torn on which snorkeling tour to choose, but believe I made an excellent choice on the SilverSwift. I had been warned that dual-purpose boats tend to cater to the divers more than the snorkerlers, but that was certainly not the case on my trip. The crew does a great job of separating the two groups during equipment... More

I did three guided dives on 20/07/2014 with divemaster Ty McCormack. His pre-dive briefs and reef knowledge was fantastic. He had a particular emphasis on safety and still made sure we all got the most dive time possible. His professionalism, yet general friendliness is commendable. The professional underwater photographer was a great service that made the day more memorable.

When I was looking for a snorkelling tour, there are so many choices, but when I came across Silver Swift tours departing from Cairns, I picked it due to the three locations you see on the Great Barrier Reef. It was a choppy on the reef the day we went, but the vessel was quick and we got to the... More

It was a pick between silverswift and tulsa 46, we decided not to cheap out and went with these guys. From the off the service was professional. Im a certified diver and did 3 dives, the instructors Ty and Paul were excellent, professional and approachable at the same time. They remembered my name after only telling them at the beginning... I have now been out twice with Silverswift and have been happy with them both times. The boat is big and comfortable. At the height of the schoold holidays it was a bit crowded but still plenty of space for everyone. We ended up at FLynn reef and the snorkelling experience was brilliant. Very pretty corral and lots of fish.... More

Not sure which company to book your reef tour with? Definitely go with silver swift. You spend 90mins on a comfy boat getting to the first site (snacks and drinks on board when you arrive). Then into the wAter at the first site. Spend about a hour in the water then 10mins to site 2. Then a delicious lunch (hot... More
