We did the diving class and stay on the boat on the reef for 2 nights experience. Most incredible. It is a rather focused experience, you're there to dive, and there are continuous opportunities to do just that. Above surface is pretty, esp. the stars at night, but the real beauty and experience is under water. We saw sharks, turtle,... More

Really great course!! The instructors were really friendly and really helpful - we were both quite nervous for our first open water dive, but they did everything they could to accommodate us and made us feel safe and in control the entire time. The rides out to the reef were quite choppy both days, but once we were there the... More

Excellent 4 night liveaboard covering the Ribbon Reefs including Cod Hole. Amazing diving, seen loads of life out on the spectacular reef, including the opportunity to be in the water with 2 Dwarf Minke whales. Cod Hole is awesome, definitely worth the extra night to be able to go here and experience being around the huge inquisitive potato cod. The... More

This was great! the boat out to the reef was crowded but well organized. the diving is called great because it is! the guides were super! The Ocean Quest live aboard was only 17 guests and it was everything I hoped for and more! Joshua, Suzi, Gloria and to many names for me to remember were all fantastic hosts! the... More

Its just as well I didn't read the past reviews before booking a 3 night 4 day dive trip. I would have avoided DSDD. There are just too many unhappy customers. Many of the complaints/comments sound familiar but fortunately I had no environmental situations which resulted in problems eg. weather, sickness, medical fitness, etc. But some of the reported problems... This is not a trip I would recommend. The company cares more about themselves than the customers they are supposed to be showing a good time. The only good thing about it was that I got to go to the Great Barrier Reef, but that is something that many other companies around the area offer. Next time I go, I... More

I went with Deep Divers Den on a day trip from Cairns. I had paid for 2 dives (I'm certified diver). The boat was so crowded and there were people everywhere. There were not even chairs and places to sit for everyone when the boat was sailing back and forth from the reefs. The dives were nothing in particular and... More

Really enjoyed this day trip to the Outer Reefs with Deep Sea Divers. The crew were very professional and friendly. The buffet lunch was excellent. Great value for money. The boat trip out was a bit choppy, but the snorkelling experience I got was a lifetime of memories. I would recommend my family and friends to do this same day... More

We went on the Taka Southern Ribbons liveaboard trip. The crew were great - enthusiastic, helpful, safety conscious and taking responsibility for making sure everyone's gear is working properly and everything is as safe as possible. There was a clear and effective system to make sure everyone was looked after and accounted for, including doublechecks. This was done efficiently but... More

We went for a day trip with this company. Just at the beginning it was not comftorbel at all. Their were way more people on the boat as it should. If you where not that lucky to get a space inside (where its smells like toilet) you had to sit outside in the rain and of you are really unlucky... More
