I chose to spend one day with Deep Sea Divers Den while on Cairns for business d/t their schedule (I wanted to go to Sunday Mass before leaving). The boat is moderate-sized (for the location) and had a somewhat bumpy ride, but was a little better than the boat I had been on the day before. However, someone prone to... more

We had a lot of fun. We are scuba divers & that is this boats main purpose, I think the company with the boat named Osprey did a much better job with the snorkeling aspect. But if you are a diver this is a good boat choice for you. We did the one day-2 dives trip. Take an anti-motion sick... more

Our family of four, all certified divers though none of us really avid, did an overnight trip with Deep Sea Divers Den (DSDD). The day(s) start with either you checking in to the boat, directly, or being picked up at your hotel. If you are staying near the boat, check in at the boat because if they pick you up,... more

I did the 5-day open water PADI course with Deep Sea Divers Den and had an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly and the crew that worked on the boats looked after us very well. Ocean Quest is an amazing boat with a fantastic dining area and lounge/bar. I would definitly recommend this dive company to anyone. more

Upon visiting Deep Sea Divers Den, my husband and I were also offered the option to pay in our own currency. We had already accepted this option with businesses like Europcar and Emirates Airlines, as we prefer to pay in our own currency, so we know exactly what we are spending. Initially I too thought the exchange rate was poorer... more

The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boats were not at all crowded. Everything was well organized and professionally run. The diving was great, the live-aboard was beautiful, and sleeping on the boat was so relaxing! I wish we could have stayed longer. more

Spent a great night on the Barrier Reef on the Ocean Quest. A little hesitant to do this as a snorkeller and not a diver but it was an incredible 2 days and one highly recommended. You get transported to the reef by a day boat which is great, fast trip out and lunch was yum! Transfer to Ocean Quest... more

My wife and I booked a 2 day overnight trip with "Deep Sea Divers Den" to the Barrier Reef in late March 2008. We went as snorkellers. There were more divers than snorkellers on the trip, and it soon became apparent that the crew`s primary emphasis was on getting the divers into the water first. Us snorkellers had to wait... more
