Great trip over with Raging Thunder, challenging walk up to the summit but worth the trek, great snorkelling, tasty lunch & nice bar to have a drink at

This is a place to go for a relaxing day on the beach! We did a short hike to see the lighthouse and the other side of the beach. The view and the water are amazing. There is a resort but we didn't spend the night there, it would be a good idea for a weekend getaway!

We decided to stay for 1 nigh before a dive trip which was a great decision! The island is really peaceful beautiful and felt really peaceful as I think only 40 or so people where on the island during our visit. We decided to go for a snorkel just right of the boat dock and we were pleasantly surprised as... More

We went with 2 children and thought it was well set up for families, the trip across was not too long so you didn't waste too much time travelling. There was plently to do on the island, from snorkelling to bush walking, they had kayaks and paddle boards available for use. We had picnic lunch included, which was very generous,... More

I went over for a day trip on my own to Fitzroy Island and it was great. The crew/staff when I checked in were friendly and welcoming. I decided to head to the island to do some snorkelling for the first time. I met another traveller who was considering having a go at snorkelling as well. A young lady on... More

Was suggested this tour as the better island to visit. Was great trip over and loved being able to swim without crocs!! Tge lack of fish and whitewashed ciral made the glass bottom boat only mildly entertaining but it was lovely to share the day with family. The picnic lunch was basic but fresh. Wear beach waders as the coral... More

We couldn't go diving on our last day in Cairns as we were flying out early the next day so we decided to go to Fitzroy Island and do the 1/2 day kayak tour. We were more than thrilled with our day. It can be a challenge to find something a mother and 27 year old son can do together... More

Today, August 10, my family went on your trip to Fitzroy Island. The weather and the conditions were not ideal but your staff helped us to have the best day possible. In addition to their efforts on that front Drew, the boat captain, went above and beyond. When my daughter lost her glasses falling off a paddleboard he changed into... More

Being in the service industry myself and running a mid size business, these guys need to learn about the term "acting reasonably" and demonstrate at least a basic level of compassion to their customers circumstances. Booked our only trip to the reef with Raging Thunder to Fitzroy Is for a family of four. The night before, my 15 year old... More

The beaches were not really suitable for children as they were full of hard coral. The secret garden is not worth the walk to be honest and neither is nudey beach which is not full of nude people. The walk itself is not advisable with kids as its full of rocks to climb over. My daughter fell over and cut... More
