Fortitude Valley is not much of a traveller's destination. There are a few interesting independent shops there, but mostly it is chain shops, fast food and bars. Weekends are my favorite and the time to treat myself to something new or old! Fortitude Valley is an oldie but a goodie and perfect for a great night out, whether you're looking for a pub or club - its all here and within walking distance! I live in Brisbane and am glad to say the Fortitude Valley is the 'place to be' when you are travelling in Brisbane. It would definitly be the area for upmarket travellers on business.
