We visited the library to see the Voices of ANZAC display and this was a well thought out and put together display, which showed the First World War from a Queensland perspective. Congrats to the staff for your presentation, it was worth the visit.

the library is in a great location in South Bank with plenty on offer to do surrounding it, including the Gallery of Modern art. The library is new, spacious and modern, Is very comfortable and there are some great facilities inside to enjoy. Plenty of tables an chairs, desks and even lounges to relax in.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the inquiry desk, who appear to make every one feel welcome to come and use the space. The ground floor is spacious and quiet with lots of computers and two phone charging stations. A lovely library cafe adjacent, good coffee and fresh food. Thank you Brisbane for providing such a great place for people... More

We thought we'd drop by to see the "Distant Lines" exhibit while in the area and after seeing the ads on TV. It was well worth the visit, incredibly moving, emotional, and so full of information and detailed insights that it should make all Australians incredibly proud and really bring it home just what was sacrificed for us so long... Yes this is place with books and all the normal things a library has, internet, WiFi etc. However it has more as it runs it own exhibitions and events not to mention it is a place to meet and have coffee.
