Was on holiday visiting my son in Brisbane and he got us tickets for a Big Bash cricket match at the GABBA. First thing you notice is that public transport from anywhere around Brisbane and return is included in the ticket price, we had a 25 train ride and 15 min bus ride all included. The stadium is tremendous with... More

We have bought tickets here for the big bash last 3years, unfortunately quality has dropped significantly every year, too many people, not enough tables and substandard food this year (2014) will not be back

It was an amazing experience. I watched the Australia vs South Africa. I visited here sometime in 2013 but the earliest i can do the dates on here was Feb 2014. I got something signed by Brett Lee(Aww Yea). It maybe needed a bit more cleaning but out of all, AMAZING!!!!

For $100 each, the B105 Luxe Lounge was excellent. Air conditioned comfortable bar, drinks were reasonably priced, some complimentary activities going on including live music, some very decent finger food before and during the game, and great seats outside plus clappers available. Arrive early to get a window seat indoors.

It is disappointing that there are very few guided tours of this stadium. Fortunately we were able to call in with free admission to Sheffield Shield games.

I love going to the GABBA to watch Aussie Rules football - Go the Lions! - and the 20/20 cricket games. The atmosphere is electric. I am not much of a sports nut, but I do like the atmosphere and the general interaction that the venue offers. The facilities are wonderful, although I must add that some are looking on... More

Hosting AFL Matches and the cricket. The ground holds 35,000 people. Available are TAB facilities as well as food and drink. Over priced in some areas. The Gabba Ground however has excellent viewing as you are there.

First AFL game. Great experience, fantastic atmosphere, just a pity that Brisbane Lions lost. Good bars and the game is easier to understand when you are actually there.
