It is a beautiful park to walk around. Make sure you give your self plenty time to enjoy the plant life, water falls and some of the ducks and birds. It would be a beautiful place to have a picnic. We were only there for a short time but we were lucky enough to have a train ride. Looking forward... More

Great open parkland, close to the city with lots of garden walk ways. Has BBQ and toilet facilities and lots of room for large groups. Parking is paid for but there is lots available and Roma St train station is next door.

A visit to Brisbane is not complete without a visit to Roma Street Parklands to see the extensive and varied gardens, take the time to have a bar-b-que or picnic on the grassy areas or shaded tables or take the children to the Parkland's playground.

Very well situated and nearby the Roma street station. Clean and tidy, good to have a time with friends e.g. in picnic.

Beautiful gardens in a former railway goods yard - you'd never know that it was once an industrial zone. The cafe is great, and the 6m high waterfall is amazing. Lots of interesting walks and activities for the kids

These are the best Parklands in Brisbane. What a great place to wander and look at the amazing displays or have a BBQ around the lake and watch the world go by.

Take a picnic, and enjoy the walk around. So much to see, but don't look up as the spider webs are HUGE and filled with spiders lol. You can then get a train to the city for shopping!! yay

Excellent place to spend a few hours and escape the heat of Brisbane. Interesting layout and some nice quiet spots. Plenty of lizards roaming around to hunt and watch out for.
