It is lovely place at the heart of city. We went there on our last day of Brisbane visit before heading back home. As it is near to train station we could sneak out when we want to and take train to Airport. This park have good fresh feeling. It is well cared and maintained with beautiful gardening. Must visit... Saw a terrific free concert at the amphitheatre, by the Mozart Players. V talented group, ,2 excellent singes and a conductor who was very engaging and funny. Lovely afternoon. This place is a great spot for a picnic or a stroll, or for cutting through town. Lovely.

A beautiful park to visit - peaceful and so very well kept and maintained. We went through this on a Kangaroo Segway tour but could have easily spent more time having a look around.

Have been here a few times and always find the gardens beautiful. There are quite a few lizards that seem to come out and bask in the sun and the kids love watching them. There is plenty of space to have a picnic too and it always seems nice and clean.

Really nice clean park to get around in-Check out the 150 Mtr water fall well worth seeing , lots of room for family stuff without getting into others faces. Love the water Dragons and insects that we got to see. Well worth the work around.

An extremely well groomed and designed space, giving the feeling of space and tranquility in the heart of a bustling city. The staff were well informed and enthusiastic about the parkland. If I was local, this would definitely be a regular spot to walk, run or relax in the sunshine.

We found these just up from the Windmill and were glad we did. More colourful gardens than their Botanic Gardens and lovely water features. It also looks like there is a gathering area for special events. Just north of the CBD, it is worth the uphill walk to discover! They also have a little train that you can take for... More

Visited end of May. Coming from a busy Highway, I entered a small park next to a lake, that felt like a cultivated jungle, great place for breakfast. Moved on around the lake, passed a lawn where some musical event was happening and ended up in a colourful botanical garden. From there on it went upwards, giving a wonderful view... More

Went for several walks through this park whilst staying at a nearby hotel. Lots of varied landscapes to walk through and enjoy and get some good ideas to take home to the garden. The place is well maintained and it is relaxing to walk amongst the plants and past the different water features. There are also deck chairs that are... More

I must say that I really enjoy parklands, and from what I could see of this place I was pretty impressed. The problem is that there is much more to this place than I was able to take in on the few mornings that I decided to wander through its grounds. In my explorations I discovered an auditorium, a statue... More
