A great area to go for a stroll, get some more active exercise, relax by the pool, find some food - anything you could ask for really!

This park was located near my hotel in Brisbane. It was one of the first places I visited in Australia. This is a beautiful park right in Brisbane. Beautiful gardens with many places to explore within the park. Lots of birds and some lizards that surprised me! There are water features too. In the Colin Campbell Place we visited with... More

The Roma Street Parklands offer a relaxing and tranquil green oasis in the Brisbane CBD. Lovely place for a walk, picnic, BBQ, etc. lots of different parts which is interesting and keeps you walking to discover what's around the next corner. There's even a small train and a waterfall.

A really nice parkland to the northwest of the city. Lots of open space and paths/boardwalks to explore. Beautifully maintained gardens and lawns. There's a small playground for the kids and a cafe if you need it. Great place for a picnic.

A hidden gem in the city. Make the time to find this relaxing spot. Great for a lunchtime walk too! It's hidden behind Roma Street Station but don't let that fool you. It's massive!

A really well kept park. Would be great for weddings, family events and lazy days. The grass was very green and the gardens perfect.

Roma Street Parkland restaurant is located next to the long-distance train terminus. The food is good and there's a reasonable number of menu choices. When we've been there at lunch time, the place hasn't been crowded and we didn't need a booking. I think it could be busy at weekends because of visitors to the Roma Street Gardens/Park. Considering the industrial railway wasteland this site once was, the transformation is remarkable. There are numerous paths and garden beds with interesting displays to explore, as well as water features, statues and topiary. Highly recommended.
