This is just a lovely place to be in. We used the gardens to get from one place to another as well as just a great place to sit and do nothing.

Wheel chair and pram friendly with a huge variety of natural and man made environments that contrast and complement each other seamlessly.
I took my small grandchildren to Roma Street Parklands for a walk. What a gorgeous spot. Many little secret areas, large and small lizards on the path ways, colour, newly planted areas, waterfalls, Japanese harp water features, it was a sensory and visual delight. Sadly the children's playground is still being restored after a storm 6 months ago which seems...

If you live in Brisbane with a family, I guess this will be a good place to spend an afternoon - lots of flowers, lawns, small lake, play areas etc.
As a single adult, it was ok for an hour or two to stroll around. As these places go, I didn't think it was worse or much better than others...

This garden is a gem! Right beside Roma Street Railway Station and the Roma Street Bus Station, it has many little hidden spots and much variety. I cycle along its road to get between the city and northern suburbs and often stop on the way back near the cafe for a rest in the shade, to refill my water bottle...

Loved this parkland! It's full of secret little groves and lovely spaces. The park also has many winding pathways to amble around and large areas of lush green lawns. The use of coloured foliage will delight anyone who appreciates gardening. It's simply beautiful.
The "spectacle garden" says it all. In spring bloom it is a stunner. Bring a picnic. Enjoy the parklands. One of the best inner-city parks I've come across. The parklands are free to visit although there is a fee for the carpark. Be ready to take lots of photos. This park is easily accessed from anywhere in the downtown area.
such a lovely place to take the kids or spend a few hours just wandering. Great water features and play areas, nice spots for a picnic and a good range of food is available. easy to get to by public transport......a wonderful city spot
To think what Roma Street precint was like, then the parkland is heaven. Just on the otherside of the trees is the noisy CBD, trains, traffic. All seemingly a million miles away.
This park is hidden away behind the Brisbane Roma Street Transit Centre and is a real surprise - with picnic lawns, barbeque areas and a tropical wilderness as well as well as manicured, well cared for flower gardens. On week-ends a small train transports visitors around the gardens for the cost of a gold coin.
