Visited the Roma Street parkland while staying in Spring Hill. Well worth the short walk to it and a longer walk around it.

Roma Street Parkland is a gem is the centre of the CBD. There are barbecues, picnic areas and a train that runs around the paths to major areas of the gardens and numerous stops. There is a cafe near to the Roma street station. It is very peaceful here and there are many nice shady spots to escape the sun... More

Lovely relaxing gardens, plenty of room to wander about or have a picnic on the lush lawns. Close to the city for shopping and close to public transport

A beautiful park secreted away from the CBD but within walking distance. Something for everyone; beautiful gardens, children's play area, train and walking trips too.

The Roma Street Parkland is a wonderful place to visit and wander about. There a many interesting flower beds and exotic plants. Lots of shady spots to get out of the sun.

Such an extensive, varied and beautiful parkland is really something Brisbanites can treasure. The gardens are impeccably and stringently maintained (somewhat by brush turkeys as well) and there are so many options whether for a picnic, walk or otherwise. Conveniently, t's only a short walk here from the CBD.

We walked through the Parkland just to get away from the City. It was a very good idea. Good paths and gardens.
