We are from Brisbane and shouted ourselves an overnight stay in a King Deluxe Room recently. Couldn't have been more pleased. Service was wonderful at check-in, it's a very tasteful, quiet hotel with the most beautiful old furniture. The bars, rooms, hallways, etc. are all immaculately clean. As a whole the casinos in Australia are a big disappointment. After you have been to Las Vegas, these casinos are very disappointing. This casino is housed in the old treasury building, which had very interesting architectural designs. The casino is very small and dark. I was expecting a casino with class and excellent service, due to all the internet hype... I was disappointed on both counts. Above all, it was not worth all the money I spent there. Brisbane could use a bit of competition, to raise the quality of this (one and only REAL casino, in town. more

The Treasury Casino definately *looks* impressive that's for sure. The intricate stone masonry from years gone by, gives the whole place a very elegant appearance.
